Fast, Easy, and Painless!
February 18, 2012
I love the Puj tub! My son did NOT like to be bathed during his first month of life, and I had had a C-section, so kneeling to bathe him would be out of the question. This tub folds flat for easy storage, provides plenty of cushioning for a wet, slippery infant, and you can use the kitchen sink with one hand free! My back is pain-free thanks to this tub, and it only takes 10 minutes or less to bathe my son. He's almost 7 months old and out-growing it quickly, but it's been one of the best baby items I've used so far.
Pros
  • folds flat for easy storage
  • bathe in the kitchen sink securely and easily
  • easy in and out
  • one-hand operation
Cons
  • Nothing -- We need a version for transition to the "big" tub! I wish it were convertible!

Not really worth it.

I had a c-section so this little sink tub was a great way for me to bathe my little one at first. However, you don’t bathe a baby until their umbilical stump falls off which can take a few weeks. Ours was right around two weeks and then by the time she was a month old I was able to use the elevated tub someone gave us so I think we only used the puj tub twice. I thought it would be great to travel with and it is...but a bathroom sink just doesn’t give you quite enough room. And I don’t like relying on the temperature of running water. I had no issues at my house with it because once you find the temperature you want it stays pretty steady for me, but I would be terrified trying to use it somewhere else with a less reliable plumbing system. What if someone in the house flushed a toilet while you were using this and burned or froze your little one suddenly? No thanks. I’d rather use a fillable tub instead. I suppose you could fill up your sink to use this if you wanted to, but I never used it enough to try that. I do like the material though. And the flat folding design is genius. In hindsight though it would have made more sense to have my husband bathe the baby the first couple times until I was healed enough to do it myself in the regular baby tub we were given.
Pros
  • Portable
  • Great for healing moms
Cons
  • Bathroom sinks are too small
  • Only useful while baby is tiny

would probably recommend

This item is definitely easy to use, it fits in to our kitchen sink, but slips down halfway through the bath so we have to pull it back up. Its definitely easier to bathe standing up at the sink as opposed to kneeling over the tub,so this is definitely helpful for that. It dries very quickly and is easy to store. Baby seems very snug and comfy in this during bath time, and for that reason alone I would recommend this!
Pros
  • easy to clean, stores flat
Best Uses
  • for infants, first few weeks

very impressed with this tub... it's a cinch to set up and is soft, flexible and easy to store. I plan to purchase some of the Puj hooks so that we can hang this in our shower when not in use.

nice bathtub

soft and compact. The reason why I bought it is because it folds flat and is compact. I am not sure if it will work in a deeper kitchen sink. Seems like it may not work there, but works fine in smaller sinks

By far the BEST baby bath tub ever!!!
August 10, 2011
When we baught the Puj baby it was after we've tried a few of the traditional baby tubs soon after my son was born. At first glimpse at the shop it looked flimsy and weird, however, we decided to try despite the relative high cost compare to the main stream baths. I was after a c-section and it was too painful to bend down on the side of our bath to reach for the regular baby tub, not to mention, that tiny babies tend to do their thing (no.2) while bathing every once in a while and when using a traditional tub this can get pretty messy. The Puj baby enables you to work with one hand, while your baby is curled in a fetus position enjoying the running water. Everything stays clean. You do not have to get a back ache while bathing him and our son loved it so much, he was unhappy to come out of it. We bathed him in it until he was nearly 7 months old only because he loved it so much and we couldn't fit him in anymore. I tried later on the larger copy of it from a different manufacturer, but it just doesn't work (in the kitchen sink). Once you're done with the Puj bath you can easily open it, wash it and hang it to dry. Sooooo easy! I consider it the best buy of the first 6-7 months of my son's life and recommend it to all my friends!
Pros
  • Design, innovation, function. It seems like whoever invented it really knows babies and the way to make it easier on the mother.
Cons
  • That it couldn't grow with my baby beyond the first months, to at least the end of his first year.
