I've had this for 5 years and it's been great. As long as you remember how to change the settings you're set. I kept the instructions downloaded to files on my phone as a pdf as reference for when I forget. But hold the power for 3 secs from the off and then select which option you want then let it turn off. To change the f/c hold the power and flash through and wait once the correct one is no longer flashing.

At my shower, I received 2 different thermometers. I hated them. I bought this one myself from the store and instantly fell in love with it. It is easy to use, always accurate, and has various settings. It's been 4 years and I haven't had to change the battery once yet - and we use it at least once a week. I love this thermometer so much that I bought a second one for my second born so the each have their own. It's easy to clean, I just use a baby wipe and then an alcohol wipe. But they each have their own and they both work wonderfully. Best thermometer I've ever had!

I bought this thermometer for my infant granddaughter and what an amazing thermometer it is . It's accurate and very simple to use, lights up when fever is present. My other daughter came over while I was using it on the baby and her response was wow, it lights up when there is fever? and she kept raving about it, so now I'll be purchasing one for her for her soon to be newborn!!!

I received various types of thermometers as baby gifts, and this is the only one I keep reaching for. It's fast and lights up when there is fever. Others were to slow and clearly not accurate. I have tested the others on myself when i didn't trust the reading, and this is the only one that would read both mine and my chikdren's temp accurately. I see there are bad reviews, but we have nothing but good things to say about it.

I am a mom of two and a pediatric nurse. I love this thermometer for my kids from birth- age 4 (current age) it is super fast and accurate. I love that it flashes red when they have a fever.

I just bought this yesterday from Toys R Us in desperate need of an accurate, working, new thermometer. I got exactly the opposite. Despite following the directions to the T, I could not get the unit to switch from Oral to any of the other options. I could switch between fahrenheit and celsius but not between other ways to take temperature. Despite knowing the person was running a fever simply by touch, I couldn't get an accurate read. Which then led me to have to borrow a neighbors thermometer to take an accurate temperature. I'm so angry that I wasted $15+ on a product that never worked. Spare yourself the money and frustration, do NOT buy this product.

We love this thermometer because it's so easy to use! There are different colors for certain temps and it can be used in different places - so handy when the baby is cranky! We've found this to be pretty accurate and takes quick readings.

I bought this thermometer because it wasn't too expensive and it was a brand I trusted. It worked great for a month or two but then it started reading inaccurately. It would give me a very low temp like 94.6 (which obviously isn't right) so I had to throw it out. It's hard to tell if your child has a fever with an inaccurate thermometer.

This is a classic, easy-to-use thermometer. I keep one downstairs in the kitchen cupboard, and one in my bedroom with all of the must-have baby supplies. Be sure to buy the covers, too.

Worked for about a day, then wouldn't stop giving errors.
