Great travel system for new parents!
January 15, 2020
We love this travel system at our house! It's sleek and modern style is perfect for us.
The car seat is my favorite of the two (so far). It's so soft and perfectly roomy, my daughter is incredibly comfortable, it amazes me! The seat was very easy to set up and adjust the fit and I love that the shoulder strap covers are minimal. The canopy is slightly annoying to move around. We had an easy time installing the base in my SUV and an easy time installing without in our truck. The car seat clicks in and out nice and easy from the base!

I don't love the attachments for the car seat on the stroller, but it is really nice to have that function with a sleeping baby on board. It's frustrating at times to get the seat on the right area and I always double check to make sure it's clicked in. When everything is in place the seat is very secure feeling, and it's easy to cover them up in bad weather with both canopies.

The stroller itself is awesome! My toddler kept saying it was hers and loved sitting in it. It's very easy to maneuver and adjust. I love the options of the canopy, the different 'windows' to peek through and the coverage it gives. The recline feature is great too and the mesh option for ventilation is wonderful. The one handed fold is so easy, I love that it's one motion! On occasion a front wheel will get stuck in an awkward angle and it won't close completely but it's not terribly annoying and an easy fix. The release to open the stroller is very simple and easy as well.
All in all I highly recommend this travel system!! It's perfect for newborns and on!

Versatile Travel System
November 24, 2019
I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This travel system was simple and versatile in design. It is very functional and easy to use which is something I look for having a 6 month old and a toddler. The car seat itself is really easy to install with the base. I typically find the process of installation something I struggle with but this was not the case using the City Mini 4W Travel System. I have not yet used the car seat without the base but I have attached it to the stroller. I found it to be slightly difficult to attach the car seat to the stroller and had to try multiple times before it actually clicked on both sides and was secured safely. I found trying to line up both sides at the same time to be a little tricky but I'm sure with more practice it will get better. Our little one enjoyed the car seat and the padding it has seems to be comfortable for her. The canopy material is rather thick which is great right now going into the winter season in OH. I was able to easily collapse the stroller with one hand by pulling the handle and then securing the side lock. I also thought the stroller wasn't too heavy to lift one-handed into my SUV. I really enjoy the simplicity and ease of use with this travel system. The stroller is my favorite part because it is versatile with the two viewing windows and easy to use adjustable seat. The canopy is large and provides optimum coverage for my little one.

So easy!!! Great for a busy family
November 24, 2019
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this travel system to test and review! I have used one other travel system and two other infant seats with the optional car dock, and this beats them out without question.

To describe this system in one word: easy! It's easy to assemble, the dock is easy to install, all of the harnesses are easy to adjust while still feeling secure, it folds easily, it unfolds easily, the storage is easy to get to, AND (my favorite) it's easy to steer one-handed which is super important with a bigger kid in tow. Plus the design is totally beautiful and sophisticated.

We get around in the car most of the week (in a hatch-back or sedan), so having a travel system is a must, especially one that fold as compactly as this one does (see photo). On the weekend we like to walk everywhere since we live close to downtown, so the the huge storage basket on this strolled is a great help. We always end up carrying groceries or other items we purchased back home in the stroller. The front access under the foot rest is genius! And I love the kick stand on the foot rest for when baby falls asleep and I want to lay her all the way back, because then her legs can be raised and she can lay totally flat. I also love that the basket and seat can be totally removed from the stroller to just leave the frame if that's all you want or you want to give it all a good deep clean.

The padding in the car seat is to soft and squishy, and baby seems to be very comfy in it. The car seat it lighter than some that we've tried while still feeling like it will provide enough protection (some other the light-weight seats seem so skimpy and unsafe).

I would only charge two thing about this system. Some other baby jogger strollers have the adjustable handle bar, which I love because I'm tall and most strollers are a little too short for my comfort. Still, this one is nice and tall and I am totally comfortable pushing it around town all day. The other thing is the seat in the stroller doesn't sit upright very far, it is always slightly declined. My baby can sit up and really loves to look around, so I find her trying to lean forward sometimes to get a better view. Still, neither of these things change the fact that I totally love this system overall and would recommend it in a heartbeat.

I like it but...
November 24, 2019
This travel system comes in a very sleek looking design. Having a travel system that works easily together as a whole unit is something I consider a 'must have' as a new parent. Two of my favorite features of this system are, one: its 'pull to fold' stroller folding design and two: the ability to use the car seat with or without a base. The pull to fold makes for a very easy way to collapse the stroller, this feature is very helpful for a person with arthritis in their hands as it does not require thump presser. (My mom could use it!) Our son was comfortable in the stroller and in the carseat. The installed base is very easy to use with the carseat and the car seat transfers to the stroller with minimal effort. You do have to install adapter parts to the stroller to use it with the carseat which is a little inconvenient, but you don't need to take them off to fold the stroller. Being able to install the carseat in your car without the base can be very handy if grandma, or someone else needs to travel with the babe and does not have a base in their car.

Let's talk more about the stroller. The handle is not adjustable, which has it's downfalls, but it does make for a more stable handle. The stroller has extra cargo space for storage below and you can pass through the front to place items in the storage spot, which is great! The bottom part of the stroller also comes up to make a foot rest which is pretty cool, but it is very difficult to pop the parts in place and even harder to get them out. I have good upper body strength and I felt like I might break it trying to put the foot rest down. The wheel lock on the stroller was also a little tricky, I found that I had to lock it and then wiggle the stroller to make sure the lock engaged and it's was property locked. The canopy of the stroller has two plastic windows on it for you to be able to see through, they used Velcro to hold these flaps down, which is fine, but magnets are a nicer touch. The materials of the car seat and stroller are not the best but they are not the worst. Overall not a bad system, it has its attractive qualities, it's easy to use, to clean and works together well as a system.

Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this system!

Best Travel system EVER!
November 23, 2019
I received this travel system as a part or the Stellar Product testing panel in exchange for my review.

I wanna start by saying this is not my first travel system but the baby jogger city mini 4w travel system is my favorite.. my favorite feature is how smooth the stroller moves. I am able to maneuver it with one hand while shopping. I also love that the stroller folds pretty flat and takes up a lot less space than my other stroller and it stand on its own when folded. Which come in handy when putting s things in the car. The canopy on this stroller actually keeps my little guy covered. And I'm able to see him through the peekaboo flap.

When it comes to the car seat I love the padding that my other didn't have my 5 month old looked pretty comfortable. Installing the base was pretty much effortless. The car seat also fits in the stroller with ease.

Needless to say I have retired my previous system and will only use this one.

Convenient, lightweight travel system
November 23, 2019
Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me the City Mini Travel System to test. I have a 3 month old and a 2 year old who both enjoyed different aspects of this system. It was super convenient to use with my 3 month old. The car seat is really lightweight and so easy for me to carry in and out of preschool when I'm also carrying the 2 year old in the other arm. The stroller is seriously the easiest one I've used (and I've used a lot) in terms of getting in and out of the car and attaching the car seat to. The car seat just pops right onto the stroller with adaptors and it's really convenient when running quick errands or for taking walks around the neighborhood. The stroller folds up with just the pull of a handle in the middle and I did it multiple times one-handed while holding the carseat in the other hand or holding bags in the other hand or my two year old in my other arm. You also don't have to take the adaptors for the car seat off when you fold the stroller, which is really nice.

I love that the car seat can be installed with or without the base. I used the base in my car and my husband would install the car seat in his car without the base when he took the 3 month old places. The installation is by far the simplest one I've used. I used the seatbelt method to install the base and all you do is lift the lever, string the car seat strap through and then lower the lever. The base is super tight without having to essentially sit on the base to tighten it like I've had to do with many other car seat bases.

The car seat is also really easy to use with the stroller. The travel system comes with adaptors so you can just pop the seat right on the stroller. It's easy to do one handed and I love that with the way the car seat rear faces on the stroller, you can completely cover the car seat between the seat's canopy and the stroller's canopy. This came in handy when we were on a walk and it started to rain. My baby didn't get wet and it kept him from feeling the cold of the wind. See the below picture for how it looked. My little one seemed really comfortable in it as well and fell asleep many times on our walks.

There were only a couple things I didn't love about the car seat. The car seat has a really big canopy (huge bonus), but it was slightly bigger than the car seat handle, so I had to have both hands free to pull the canopy through the handle. It wasn't that big of a deal though. Also, the handle buttons on the car seat are a little stiff so it took a little work to push the handle up and back. It wasn't that bad though that it would stop me from ever purchasing this system.

One of my favorite features of the travel system, which we utilized with the two year old is how the stroller fully reclines to a flat position and the leg portion pops up and clicks into place so it's also flat with the rest of the stroller. My 2 year old really enjoyed taking a nap in it and often made us push him around the house and neighborhood while he laid down. He gave the stroller two major thumbs up! I also love how we don't need a base with it, so it's much more convenient to take on trips and both the car seat and stroller are super lightweight, which is a must when you have a ton of other stuff you're toting along.

In terms of a travel system, this one was excellent and I will definitely be using this system for neighborhood walks, quick errands, and all our future trips as well. Thank you again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try out this system.

Wonderful! Versatile! Incredible!
November 23, 2019
I absolutely love and highly recommend the City Mini 4W Travel System!!! This truly is a very versatile travel system that includes the 4-wheel stroller and the separate car seat. The car seat was incredibly easy to install in my vehicle and then transfer into my parents car for when they were babysitting and taking the baby on errands. Typically this is a task that I leave to my husband, but I was able to install and transfer it on my own! The adjustable head rest in the car seat made it very comfortable for my baby.
The stroller component of this travel system is exceptional on all kinds of terrain. Usually I walk on paved surfaces but with the intention of truly testing this item for an honest review, I used this stroller on the grass and on a gravel path. It performed beautifully and provided a very smooth ride for my baby. The four wheels worked together nicely and I did not experience any sticking or lagging of the wheels. The stroller was simple to maneuver even when being pushed on the grass.
There are several features of the stroller that make it stand out from similar models and provide an almost customized ride. First, the stroller has an adjustable calf rest to give the best support for little legs. The canopy is very large and can pull down to several different heights to block the sun. The addition of UPF 50 built into the fabric ensures even more coverage and protection.
All parents and caregivers will appreciate the ability to easily collapse the stroller for travel purposes, especially with only one hand. The weight of the stroller is surprisingly light and can be lifted with one hand to place into a trunk. It folds very compact and does not take up too much room.
In conclusion, I found no negative features of the City Mini 4W Travel System. I own four strollers all from different brands, and this is by far my new favorite! I am so thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this product to test and review!

Great features & versatility - solid travel system
November 23, 2019
Success with our first travel system! Despite baby being child #3, it is our first time using a complete travel system (vs. snap-n-go frame, stroller post 6 months).... and I can say I now get why this is better! The car seat replaced a near expiration popular infant car seat. Initially I was worried the City Mini wouldn't be as narrow as needed for our back middle seat or be an issue for the convertible car seat it sits right next to, but it fit great! And the installation for non-latch was so much easier - the belt path cinched easier but the lockdown bar feature is awesome! I actually don't understand why all infant car seats aren't using the lockdown bar. Some other pros: -Large Canopy, this was an issue for us with prior car seat when outside for weekend sports for the older kids as well as at times for the car. -Easy adjust for shoulder straps and head protection with one movement. -Easy to carry (for this type of seat) due to larger handle. -Baby seemed comfy in the seat. - The taxi installment option is a nice additional feature. Negatives: - Not much, but I do find lifting out of the base from middle back row seat to be a bit more challenging, it isn't as smooth when trying to keep baby asleep. - The higher/longer carrying handle is a double edged sword as it makes it harder to see baby in a mirror. Total system with car seat and stroller used together: Pros: - Baby much preferred the higher elevation than a traditional stroller or snap n go. - The large canopies for both seat and stroller mean great on the go napping potential without disruption....and germs kept away when out! But with 2 windows to be able to view baby easily! Negatives: - It is big - not the biggest travel systems I have seen in our urban area, but bigger still than I am accustomed to. We have some grocery stores where this would still be a challenge to maneuver in. - I did not find that the car seat inserts in to the brackets on the stroller as smoothly as I wished. I sometimes found myself misaligned or questioning whether it was securely in and redoing the placement to be sure. - Would be nice if there was a little pouch to put the bracket pieces tucked away in when going between using car seat system to just stroller alone. Stroller used without car seat: Pros: - The recline is great and easy to adjust! - The strap system is good for having multiple points of adjustment for smaller babies - Sturdy and smooth rolling - Bar height high enough for tall moms - Can use with younger babies! Due to the recline and straps I felt confident using at 4 months old when head control is still developing. This is not the case with most strollers. Negatives: -No cup holder or even fabric compartment underneath to hold water bottle - this was a big drawback as even our jogging stroller has a place for one standing up. - The placement of the rear bar between wheels gets in the way of putting larger items or diaper bags in the basket. Overall I am really pleased with this system and appreciate the clear easy to follow instructions provided. I see us using this travel system for many years to come since the stroller is great on its own even after the infant car seat is outgrown. My favorite part is how much easier this travel system and stroller is going to make days out for activities and Saturday sports days with my kids - I have wide age gaps so need versatility in everything we use as each kid ages and life changes! I received this product for review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but all opinions are my own.

The city mini travel system in jet fashion was great. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've been looking for a travel system for my LO and I was given the chance to test this travel system out. I really love it. It's canopy is great, the style is elegant, the sun blocker is extended, and it's easy to use. I wasn't able to use the car seat just because I already have one for my LO that I use but I did take a look at it and it's well built, and I love that you can install it into another car without it's base. Overall it was a great travel system.

Great compact stroller system
November 22, 2019
This has been a great stroller that fits our active lifestyles. First off, loved that it could accommodate our three year old or our newborn. It has a high weight limit, so we see ourselves getting a lot of years of use out of it. It was easy to assemble and the one-handed fold-up is super easy to do. We currently have a Graco carseat, and were able to click that one into place securely as an option, which is great if going between two cars and two car seats. The city mini car seat that came with the system is also really nice, easy to hold and the fabric is really plush. It aslo has an easy to install feature for installing without the base, which will be great since I often take a rideshare. I like that the sun cover totally covers the top of the car seat when in place in the stroller, and doesn't fall down on every bump in the sidewalk. The little peek-a-boo panels are also a great feature to check on baby without having to disturb him. Although I think the best feature is the maneuverability of this stroller. I was able to take it into a grocery store and easily drive it around while also holding a shopping basket. The fact that the tires are not like bike tires and don't need to be pumped keeps this pretty low-maintenance as well. The only things we have disliked about this stroller is the lack of storage. I wish there was a pocket for my phone or the bottom storage basket was a bit larger and easier to place items in and out of. I used to hang my purse off the handlebar of my old jogger, so not having this option has also been an adjustment. But I guess that is just the trade-off in order to have a fairly light and compact stroller system. I think there are also accessories you can purchase like cup holders. Overall, we have really loved this stroller and been using it day to day for errands and walks. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

Great Travel System
November 21, 2019
I received this travel system as part of the Stellar Parent Review Panel.
There are so many plus-points for this system-the stroller was easy to assemble, and both the car seat and stroller have lovely amounts of padding. The infant insert in the car seat also has reinforcement inside so it is not just padding and I feel adds to the safety of the seat. The base installed easily in my vehicle, and I like the Securestop Anti-rebound bar, this is a feature I have not seen in other infant car seats I've used. The car seat also easily clipped into the stroller, making for rapid transition from car to strolling. The straps on the car seat are easy to adjust which is great for a rapidly growing baby! I also enjoyed the fluid level on the car seat ensemble, it was easier to use than the typical ball level found on other seat systems. The stroller is easy to maneuver, has a smooth ride, lays almost flat for naps on the go, and is comfortable for my toddler too!
Only a few cons for this travel system. The packaging describes it as lightweight, however I found both the car seat AND stroller to be quite heavy. There was also a LOT of packaging for these items and unboxing took quite some time.
Overall I would definitely recommend this travel system, it seems very solid and will provide easy, continued use from infant to toddler stage.

Travel system for moms on the go
November 21, 2019
The Baby Jogger 4W Travel System is great for moms running around and getting things done! First, the system looks sleek. I got several compliments from other moms when I first started using it. Second, my baby loves it. I have a preemie and she is tiny but it fits her well, plus tons of room to grow. She falls asleep every time I put her in! The shade is great and has UPF. The car seat also fits my Baby Jogger Summit X3! Third, the functionality of the system is great. I love that the car seat can be used safely without a base. We have a nanny and she was able to easily put the car seat in her car. The stroller has great turning radius (I used it during a stroller exercise class), and the car seat clicks in and out seamlessly. The stroller also folds up nicely in my trunk and isn't too heavy. There are some other features that we will be able to enjoy once my baby becomes a toddler, like the elevated footrest. The one area Baby Jogger could improve this product is the bottom storage basket could be bigger, but it still holds more than the basket of an umbrella stroller.

Full disclosure, I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Views and opinions are my own.

Features Galore = Easy, Convenient Travel System
November 21, 2019
The overall thoughtful and innovative design makes this travel system a clear winner for me. I think its many features are designed to maximize ease of use and comfort, and all work together to provide an enjoyable and super comfortable experience for me and my little one.

I cannot pick just one thing that I like the most! The supersize sun shade is remarkable and such a valuable and necessary feature. I love knowing that my baby's skin is protected from the sun and I can peek in on him through the two windows. The stroller's seat is wide and deep, and my child is often so comfortable that the falls to sleep - which isn't a problem because I can easily recline the seat and lift the leg support for added comfort (without waking him up)! Another super useful and unique feature of the stroller is the one-hand fold. It could not be any easier for me - or my parents who also use it often. Since we have a very active lifestyle, the convenient fold and light weight frame make it simple to pick up and move to wherever we are headed next.

We also have really taken advantage of the travel system - and it has made our lives so much easier. The car seat base was simple to install and we've been able to move it from the car to the stroller seamlessly. I've often had trouble with other travel systems where it's been frustrating and taken a lot of energy to get the carseat on the stroller, but this one doesn't take any effort at all and clicks right in. It's also amazing that I can use the seat with or without the base - it's been a game changer for us. Since we're always on the go, we can safely install the car seat in a ride share, fold up the stroller and be on our way in minutes. And, it is clear my baby is comfortable through every step. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

Compact stroller that doesn't compromise!
November 21, 2019
I was given this stroller and car seat set as a part of the Stellar Product Panel. This is a great stroller and car seat combo. First, it is a compact stroller but does not lack features - near flat recline, huge canopy, good size under storage basket. It is a little on the heavy side (still much lighter than the city select). It folds and unfolds easily and the car seat clicks in and feels super secure. One thing that I did not like is the canopy of the car seat with the canopy of the stroller. They are thick and large and create a good blackout room for a sleeping baby but I couldn't get them to stay correctly because they overlap. I think some more trial and error will help me figure that out. It was super comfortable for my six week old on our stroll around the block - it is bumpier than in a jogger but is great for indoor use. The car seat has a really cool base that is super easy to install and lots of padding in the seat. Lastly, I love that it's versatile. I can put the car seat into the stroller and my three year old can walk or I can put the baby in a carrier and push the stroller with ease. (Picture of my three year old helping me set up the stroller - which only takes a few minutes).

I love the baby jogger City Mini 4W Travel System. It has a great big canopy with two nice peek a boo windows. I love that it has a mesh lining at the top of the seat for air flow. It so easy to steer. Its a very quiet stroller and rides smoothly over uneven walkways and roads. The seats recline back pretty far and almost flat. The basket will fit a decent sized diaper bag but a little hard to get in. The carseat adapters are easy to install. Using the canopy on stroller and carseat will shield baby completely from the sun. The car seat is amazing. Easy for caregivers and new parents to use. I love the height adjuster on the back. All you do is squeeze and move it up or down where you need it. It's so easy. Its nicely padded. I love the canopy is nice big. The handle is perfect for carrying. The carseat is easy to install with and without the base. It's a great travel system. Thanks to stellar reviews for giving me this system to test out!

Versatile travel system from baby to toddler
November 20, 2019
I have a 5 month old baby and a very tall 3 year old toddler. This stroller was so great to use for either of them. The car seat is comfortable and quick and easy to attach to the stroller or to click into the car. It's very easy to fold and unfold. I could even do it with the baby in one hand! My 3 year old especially loves how far back the stroller recliner and how much room there was in there for him. I already loved the baby jigger brand but after trying this travel system out, my love for them has grown 10-fold! The only thing missing would be some accessories so my toddler can ride along on a board while I'm pushing my infant if he doesn't feel like walking. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel and really enjoyed getting to try out Baby Jogger's latest!

Baby & mom approved travel system
November 20, 2019
As a mom who always seems to be on the go, a travel system is a very appealing option to transport baby from car to stroller with ease. The City Mini 4W travel system checks all of the boxes I look for when it comes to a carseat/stroller combo. The install of the carseat base into my car was the quickest and easiest of any other carseat I have tried. I love that the carseat doesn't require a base in the car which is ideal when my child is with his grandparents, or we need to use a taxi/ride-share service on vacation. My little guy was super cozy and comfortable in the carseat. The only con I found is that the carseat is a bit heavier than those I've used in the past. As for the City Mini 4W stroller - I am so impressed with the true "one-hand fold." As crazy as it sounds, I honestly look forward to folding the stroller because it is so easy! I've used other strollers that also claim to be a one-handed fold, and they do not compare. It's extremely convenient to be able to pick your child up in one hand, pull the strap to fold the stroller with the other hand, and be on your way. The carseat fits seamlessly into the stroller with the included adapter. It is so convienet to be able to take my child from the car to the stroller without taking him out of his carseat when we are out running errands. The stroller is very easy to turn, is a smooth ride, has a large canopy and the backrest is super easy to adjust up and down (which comes in handy when my son needs a nap). Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with this travel system and highly recommend! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this travel system for my honest review.

Amazing All Ages Travel System! Highly Recommend!!
November 20, 2019
As a mom of two (2 yo, newborn) this travel system has been great. The stroller looks luxurious without the crazy price tag of other brands. I love the versatility that the car seat can pop right into the stroller and my newborn and I can go for a walk, securely tucked in her carseat. Alternatively, the stroller is spacious enough for my 2yo with room for her to grow for the upcoming years. My favorite feature by far is the one hand fold, it really is that easy. I also really like the large canopy, which was able to almost completely cover my LO when we got caught in the rain. With the 4 wheels, the stroller can stand upright when folded for easy storing. It maneuvers around our uneven city sidewalks with ease. The stroller is lightweight and versatile while still being big enough for a full day out and about. A couple things I would like to see different on the stroller are the bar across the bottom storage basket, removing the bar across so you can fit larger items in the basket more easily, and changing the handlebar to have an adjustable height. The car seat & base combo is great to be able to click and go with the base or to take just the car seat for travel or ride shares, both options are quick and easy to install and keep your LO safe. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

Overall a Great, "TRUE," Travel System
November 20, 2019
First and foremost, I will say that before I buy anything, and I mean anything, I read countless reviews. That being said, I'm hoping that this will help another parent save some time and be confident in their decision to/not to purchase this travel system. I'm in my mid-30's and a mom of 2 children that are 2 and under so time is valuable and so are great products!

This leads to me to my first pro of this travel system which is that it is extremely easy to put together. It took less than 5 minutes total. The wheels clicked on easily and there were no ambiguous instructions which I've experienced with two other strollers I've put together. The second pro is that it is a 4-wheel travel system. I'm not a fan of the 3-wheel travel systems because they never feel as sturdy and they don't ride/push any better. The 4-wheel setup on this is smooth, turns well, and doesn't result in a "bulkier" front end. The third pro for me is that it is completely black. This makes the travel system look sleek and more importantly, appear clean even when it may not be. The fabric is also liquid repellent (read: spit-up repellent) and wiped off easily. The third pro is that the seat for the stroller (without the car seat) can be laid down so it's entirely flat. This will be great when it's nap time and out and about. Coupled with the huge canopy, it should provide a great napping environment. The car seat also has a huge canopy, which I really like because it never fails that when I put the car seat in the carriage to go into the grocery store, the sun is directly in my daughters' eyes! This solved that problem! The fourth pro is that the car seat has an adjustable headrest. My previous car seat literally had a thin cushion that was attached with Velcro and three different slots as baby grows. This car seat has about 10 different settings up and down and nothing must be removed to change height which is really nice! The headrest is a sturdy plastic with cushion on top so it feels really secure. The fifth pro is that there are multiple ways to hook the car seat into a vehicle. First, using latch straps with the base; Second, using a seat belt with the base; Third, not using the base and there is a specific hook for the seat belt. I did install without the base just to test it out, but, I have never NOT used a base and have no plans to, however, this would be helpful for travel in a taxi or uber when you don't have the base accessible and don't want to bring it with you. Also, there's a rebound bar which makes it feel more secure. Lastly, a few other options I like are the large cargo basket under the stroller and the long square shaped handle on the car seat. This makes it really easy to carry!

Now for a few cons:
First, the car seat just seemed a little bit too compact for my daughter. It was narrow, so I felt that she was secure, but, also felt that she might be a bit uncomfortable, especially as she gets bigger. Second, my daughter is prone to blowouts (lucky me!) and the light gray infant insert cushion in the car seat could stain fairly easy if not washed immediately. The headrest is also a light gray so that could also get dirty fairly quick and I didn't observe any easy way to remove to wash. Third, the foot rest on the stroller is almost nonexistent. This means the legs are left to hang instead of rest. Fourth, there is no snack tray for the stroller/child included. This is a significant con for me because I specifically looked for this when purchasing my travel system. Same with my fifth and final con which is that there is no tray or cup holder on the handle area for the adult. This is definitely inconvenient. I'm sure an add-on can be purchased separately, but, I prefer to have everything included in one purchase and not have to piece together desired options.

In summary, I WOULD recommend this stroller due to the fact that it is light and compact with easy maneuverability, but these features don't compromise a great travel system! In my opinion, the pros far outweigh the cons. It is a great design, sleek, truly made for "travel," easy to fold, and a smooth ride for all!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system!

Quality stroller for years of use
November 19, 2019
I was excited to try the Citi Mini stroller because I'd heard how good they are for big kids as well as babies. I have a 4' tall 5 year old who's always been at the top of the her height percentiles, and a 6 month old baby who's been totally off the charts in height since birth (and close to that in weight.) So I was eager to see how the stroller did with both my kids.

We live in the suburbs and so this was needed for casual use - walks around the neighborhood, shops, Botanical Gardens, etc.

Pros:
-The one-handed fold was AWESOME. It definitely was as easy as it seemed. It folded *and locked* with one swift motion and it didn't take a huge amount of force. I will say though that it did not seem to be a one-handed *unfold.* I needed two hands to unlock it when it was folded - but since baby was almost always still in the carseat at the time, it wasn't a big deal.
-The canopy on both the carseat and the stroller are huge. I loved that it was 50+ UPF, being in the South with a summer baby. When the carseat was rear-facing in the stroller, I could use both the carseat's canopy and the stroller canopy to completely shield baby.
-The carseat is lighter weight than most bucket seats I've tried. As someone with a bad back and a heavy baby, I appreciated this.
-Set up out of the box was quick and simple.
-Carseat seemed secure in stroller
-When carseat was not in stroller, the seat was big enough for my tall 5 year old to sit in and recline comfortably. She loved it so much she wanted to use it as a chair around the house. We're planning our first trip to Disney soon and will totally utilize this stroller for her.
-It handles like a dream and makes pushing even my big kid around quite easy
-I'm not into the style of baby products so much as their function, but I think it looks quite nice.

Cons:
-I docked it a full star because it does not have a parent tray on the handlebar, nor does it have a tray for big kids to use. Baby's too little for a child size snack tray, but we absolutely missed the parent tray. Drinks, keys, phones - we're all always juggling things and it would be so handy to have. The handlebar also warns not to hang things from it, so you couldn't even get a purse hook or anything without fear it would tip the stroller.
-Putting the carseat into the stroller wasn't super intuitive. My engineer husband had to fiddle with it quite a bit and even when it does snap in, it moves back and forth a few centimeters, making you think it isn't secure. It is - we picked up the stroller by the carseat handle to be sure - but it was unsettling. You have to kind of do two maneuvers to release it, as well, which for me took both hands. I didn't love jerking my baby around in his carseat while figuring that out.

We did not install the carseat without the base but using the base was easy enough. Baby seems content in the carseat, as much as he ever is.

The big draw of this for me is how easy I can go back and forth to using it for either of my kids. If I'm carrying the baby in a front pack I can stroll my 5yo, or the 5yo can walk while baby's in the stroller. Also, knowing my tall girl can fit, I know my baby will grow up being able to use this for literally years. It definitely feels solid, durable, and able to hold up for longterm use. I love that it can recline fully and the hood completely covers my kids with sun protection. That's a big, big plus for me.

Travel System
November 19, 2019
This travel system in very well made. The material feels nice and my baby seems very comfortable in both the car seat and the stroller. Both are fairly light as far as strollers and car seats go. It pushes super smooth and easy to move around with one hand. The stroller folds with one hand and unfolds easily. I like that the handle is rubbery instead of foam like most other strollers. Both the canopies on the stroller and car seat are very large and provide a lot of coverage. The storage under the stroller is fairly large although there is a bar that blocks access a bit. There are a lot of things about this system that are just a little difficult. When folding the stroller you have to make sure that the front wheels are turned out, otherwise they get in the way and it won't fold all the way. Also the handle rests on the ground when folded, so it'll end up getting scratched up with normal use. The footrest is also difficult to snap into place when putting it all the way up. I think that'll get easier with more use though. The car seat seems extra comfy. The handle has multiple positions which is nice and the seat clicks in and out of the base easily. Installing the base is difficult, it's hard to get it tight enough and the directions are not very clear. The directions for installing without the base seem much more straightforward and easier. I do wish it came came with some kind of snack tray and parent console. Overall it's a nice travel system with some difficulties. I think after frequent use you'd get use to these and they wouldn't be a big deal. It feels well built and should last many years. Deluxe features, sleek design!
November 19, 2019
With a new baby in the house we wanted to update our stroller assortment to include an easy to use travel system. The City Mini is stylish and very maneuverable, which are my main selection criteria. I loved the new 4-wheel design, which gives it a luxury stroller look. The travel system is as easy as can be: the carseat adapters are easy to install AND don't have to be removed to fold the stroller, and the included car seat (which is blessedly lightweight) clicks in easily. Here are some of the very best features of this travel system: the stroller has a one-hand, standing fold (hooray!), and the handle used for folding doubles as a handle for carrying the stroller (up a staircase, for example); the carseat has super easy strap height adjustment; you don't have to rethread the straps! and it's easy to install the car seat with or without the base because there are clearly marked blue tabs showing where to thread the seatbelt if you are jumping into a taxi without the base. This last feature makes the City Mini a great travel system if you live in an urban area. The baby was comfy and happy in the carseat, especially when clicked into the stroller, which has a super smooth ride. Finally, with plenty of storage space in the basket, and easy to clean nylon fabrics, this travel system has been a welcome addition. Perfect for a Grab and Go Lifestyle!
November 18, 2019
I am a huge Baby Jogger fan! I bought the City Select travel system when pregnant with our first child. I love the City Select for its ability to turn into a double stroller, but we are a two car family and I was craving a lighter weighted stroller for throwing in and out of a vehicle. I was so excited when I was sent this City Mini 2 4-Wheel travel system as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I have a lot of experience using the original City Go car seat and I am super impressed with the upgrades!
- The updated fabrics are super nice and the sunshade canopy is a lot easier to move back and forth.
- Adding an anti-rebound bar and belt lock-off makes us feel a lot more secure about installation and safety.
- There is also a convenient place in the base to store the LATCH straps.
- The leaver to adjust the recline is so much simpler than having to turn a knob to recline the original City Go base.

The City Mini 2 4-Wheel stroller boasts all of the same convenient features of the regular City Mini. I love the updated adjustable calf support especially since we have a 4 month old who can't quite swing his legs down off a seat yet. Of course the signature one-handed fold is essential for quick trips in and out of our vehicle. Even though this stroller is sleek and lightweight, it is extremely durable sturdy when pushed.

There are only a few considerations when choosing this stroller. The peekaboo windows are secured with velcro, which is not preferable compared to the magnetic closures on other models of strollers. I also wish that they had upgraded to a flip flop friendly break system for those summer months.

Overall, this is a very impressive travel system perfect for parents with a grab and go lifestyle!

Smart travel system
November 18, 2019
I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
The travel system is a life saver for a busy mother like myself. I have three children under 5 years old including a newborn. The travel system helps to make my crazy life a little easier.
I like the design of the travel system that has a modern looking with convenient features including 1-hand compact fold, which is my favorite feature of the stroller. When you have a young child, your hands will never be empty. Just by pulling the one hand fold slip on the stroller seat, a parent can fold the stroller while holding a baby on the other hand. In addition, the stroller automatically locks when you fold it. I just wish that opening the stroller was as easy as closing. It would have been even better if there was an automatic button to unlock and open the stroller with just one hand.
Another great feature of the stroller is adjustable calf support and seat reclining. My toddler likes riding the stroller for the comfortable features. The flat seat reclining is nice when the child is sleeping. My newborn also enjoys the ride of the stroller for the smooth riding and full coverage canopy. Since removing the car seat from the base and installing it on the stroller are really easy and quick, I can transfer the car seat to the stroller or to the car without waking my baby. With the car seat attachments came with the travel system, putting the car seat on the stroller is just one click.
My favorite feature of the car seat is an easy installation of the car seat with or without the base. RAPID-LOCK Base belt-tensioning technology allows me to install the car seat base without having to fight with the seat belt and the base forever. Once the base is installed, putting the car seat on the base is easy peasy just by clicking the bottom of the car seat on the base. Removing the car seat from the base is also a piece of cake by pushing the button on the back of the car seat and lift the car seat. We travel a lot and use a taxi or a ride-share service occasionally, so easy installation of the car seat without the base by using taxi-safe belt path is really helpful.
I love the travel system for all the features I mentioned above. Only one thing it lacks is that the stroller cannot be a double stroller. As a mother of multiple young children, I would love to see the stroller to have a capability of becoming a double stroller and staying compact.

This stroller sparks joy
November 18, 2019
received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It exceeded all my expectations. Here are all the things that make this an awesome travel system if you are on the go.

Starting with the car seat: Your baby will be very comfortable with the headrest surrounding their head so you'll never have to worry about their head slumping to the side during car naps. There is also newborn padding and padded shoulder straps included so it really feels like your little one is riding in luxury from day one. It was so simple to adjust the harness height with the push of a button and easy slide up or down and tightening the straps or loosening them is a cinch as well. The large UV 50 canopy is great at shielding your baby from the harsh sun. This is easily the best car seat I've ever used and installing it was a breeze. What impressed me the most about the car seat was all the safety considerations and features. The seat belt lock off is convenient for those using a seatbelt to install their car seat to make sure the belt stays buckled and alternatively for the latch install, the latch connectors are stored away inside the base- I thought that was so cool! I felt much more confident in my installation of the base because of the rebound bar, belt lock off and easy to see indicator that you have the base level. Every aspect of installation was a breeze thanks to all these awesome features. Although I have not installed it without the base, it is possible and seemed very uber/taxi friendly if you live in a city or don't feel like lugging the hefty base while traveling.

Moving along to the stroller: connecting the car seat base to the stroller is a few clicks away with the included adapters. The connectors do stick out when the stroller is folded, so I personally remove and put them on as needed to save space and keep them from snagging on something in the trunk. My absolute favorite part of the stroller is the one handed fold. I have a toddler and baby so I need all the free hands I can get. The stroller is so compact when folded that I can stand it up in my hatchback's trunk and still have half the space remaining for grocery or shopping bags. I tested the stroller out with both my kids and it was fairly easy to adjust the strap height and tighten/loosen the straps to ensure they both had a good fit. The large canopy is great for blocking out the sun and though the basket was smaller than I'm used to, that's to be expected with a smaller stroller. This stroller does great on walks around the neighborhood, running errands around town and even on a trip to the zoo. It can be steered one handed and is very easy to maneuver.

The only things I felt the stroller was missing could be purchased as accessories- a belly bar or snack tray and parent console.

Overall this stroller system has all the features a family on the go would need and more. I look forward to putting my baby in the car and taking this stroller out with us every day. It truly sparks joy.

Overall it's a win
November 18, 2019
I was excited to receive this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel as we really like the idea of a travel system. Our overall impression was that they did a good job. The stroller maneuvered quite effortlessly and was super easy to fold and pretty compact. The front wheels can be locked straight which is helpful for going through rough terrain and seem to have good suspension, although we only used it on pavement and did notice they were a little noisy. Although the seat is not reversible, we liked that the carseat could face you in the stroller, with the seat slightly reclined for it to fit, and how it could be completely covered by both UV canopies. The stroller canopy has two positions, each with a peekaboo plastic shade. The seat lays back at any angle and there is a mesh flap for breathability, and the feet can also be propped up, allowing another access point to the underneath storage. The material isn't the softest but it's not scratchy either and the seat is padded. And although the handle is not adjustable, it was comfortable for me at 5'1" and for my husband at 5'8". Possible downsides were the brake is not flip-flop friendly but honestly, how often do you go for a walk in flip-flops? And it didn't come with any accessories.
For the car seat, we liked that the adjustable head support height is really easy to do, there is velcro at the base of the canopy to keep it from falling down when it is retracted, and that the car seat is released from the stroller the same way it releases from the car seat base.
Upon installing the car seat, the bubble level indicators on both sides make it very easy to install at the correct level, and even includes different target levels for different weight ranges. We prefer using the LATCH system, it seems a little more secure than using the seat belt, although the folding gizmo on the base helped. Without the base, we would definitely recommend using the taxi belt path for the shoulder strap to help secure the car seat properly and at a better angle. Without the shoulder strap in the taxi path, it did not seem as secure and the angle was harder to maintain.
All in all, it is a good looking, lightweight travel system with nice features and our baby fell asleep in it as we took a walk so that's a win!

Terrific Travel System
November 18, 2019
As a mom to a 6-month-old and toddler the City Mini 4 Travel System works great! I was able to easily install the car seat base in a matter of minutes with the instructions as well as easily clip in the car seat. I also love that you can safely install the car seat without the base in case we ride in the grandparent's car. The car seat is comfortable for my baby and the canopy provides great coverage. The seat and canopy material look and feel really nice too. My favorite feature of the car seat is the adjustability without having to re-thread the straps!

The stroller was also a breeze to assemble and I love that the car seat can clip into it. If the baby is sleeping, I can leave him in his car seat and clip it into the stroller while out running errands or let him ride in the stroller seat for a stroll in our neighborhood. The recline is great and easy to adjust depending on our need at the time. The stroller basket is a nice feature although it is a little hard to access. I also wish there were cup holders included. The stroller is very easy to maneuver and can be steered with one hand if needed. The wheels are good for smooth pavement, but the ride is a little bouncy on sidewalks as you run over the joints. Not only does my baby love to ride in the stroller but my almost 3-year-old does as well and fits comfortably! We love that it easily folds with one hand for storage or to put in the back of the car. Overall, I would definitely recommend this travel system to anyone looking for one. The functionality, quality, and adjustability of this travel system make it a great product! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test and review this great travel system!

Great car seat, excellent system!
November 18, 2019
This is a top notch travel system and a great value. I've been testing this out for the past month or so. I am usually very picky and was shocked by how much I enjoyed the car seat and the system as a whole.

The car seat: I have a 2014 Subaru Forester and the bucket seat takes up as much space as any other bucket seat, it was very intuitive to install. I really appreciated the extendable foot on the car seat base. I didn't have to use rolled up towels and was able to get a very secure fit in a matter of minutes. The car seat is made of super comfy materials and has a very large and surprisingly quiet and dark sun shade. The seat has a super easy to use no rethread harness so it was really easy to adjust. The car seat feels like it weighs about as much as any other car seat. Of note - it has a very user-friendly non-base install which makes taking this carseat in a grandparents car in a pinch INCREDIBLE. I was able to get a very secure install this way as well.

As far as the travel system as a whole, I love that this will actually grow with my child because the stroller weight limit is 50 lbs. and the seat is SO ROOMY! I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and use it for both of them depending on the outing. I just adore was how simple this whole system is. It was very simple to put together out of the box, and the stroller has an amazing one handed fold that is literally idiot-proof. The stroller is not too heavy, but also not super light. The stroller itself doesn't feel like a luxury stroller, but it does feel incredibly durable and is made out of sporty fabrics that I see being super easy to clean which I really appreciate. I liked how wide the toddler seat was and that it does lay flat for nap time. Used as a travel system, the carseat fits very easily with the provided adaptors. The stroller hood folds up so that your baby even has a dark little cocoon to nap in (we loved this!!).

Cons: the rubbery non-telescoping handle - I felt like it's going to have a lot of fuzzies stuck to it. I also didn't love the metal bar between the wheels that I kept kicking while I was walking (I'm 5'7" with very long legs and a long stride). This stroller doesn't stand on its own when it's folded and a lot of the accessories must be purchased separately.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system to test out, we are excited to take this on lots more adventures!!

This travel system has it all!
November 18, 2019
Overall, I think the City Mini 4W travel system is great. Assembling the stroller was very easy and took less than five minutes. I've used it with the car seat and without, and both my two year old and 5 month old love it. We use it out and about and also for walks around our neighbor hood. It is really easy to convert it from using it with the car seat to using it without. All you have to do is slip off two plastic inserts. Putting the car seat in it does take a little getting used. I struggled in the beginning getting the car seat in the right position to where it will snap. I love the extended canopy on the stroller. It protects my daughter's face, even when she is directly facing the sun. The stroller has a compartment underneath it that will hold my diaper bag, which is great for when we are out doing errands. The only thing I wish it had was a bar at the top that would hold my phone and water bottle for when we take walks. I just throw them in the bottom compartment though. To fold it up, all you do is pull a handle that is located on the seat, and it locks itself when it's pulled up. It is a little heavier than I am used to, but it still very manageable. I love the sleek black design of the stroller too!
The car seat was very easy to install, which is saying a lot! I always have trouble installing car seats, but I had this one installed in about five minutes. The car seat also has an extended canopy that blocks the sun from my daughter's face. It is easy to get it in and out of the car. I really like the infant insert that comes with it because it keeps my daughter's head in a comfortable position when she is sleeping. The best feature has to be the shoulder strap adjustment on the car seat. All you have to do is slide a button on the back to move the straps up or down instead of having to take the straps out of the back of the seat and move them to a different hole. Seriously so easy!!!
We are enjoying using our new travel system, and I'm so glad I was received it from the Stellar Product Testing panel!
