Our daughter still use this carseat she is 10mo and 22lbs. This carseat is very easy to pop on and off from base. I have weak wrist but I can easily hold it and put it on the caddy. We also got the caddy and we still don’t have a stroller. This carseat and caddy works great and really convenient.

This is the second of this car seat I've bought, the first was 4 years ago for our oldest. After realizing it had been damaged since storing between children I quickly repurchased it for our third. The KeyFit30 has remained unchanged and still fits safely into my Viaro stroller and previous (undamaged) base.

We have used it both with the base and with a seatbelt install in a relative’s car and it has been very usable in both setups. My son has yet to make his debut yet everyone in my family suggested this car seat. My sister had this for both her boys my little sister got this one as well (she’s only 22 weeks) and literally everyone who is a seasoned parent has said that this seat is the best one they’ve had. My BIL is a cop and he said he and my older sister chose this seat for safety, any accident he showed up to this seat was practically untouched and the child inside didn’t even have a scratch.

Pros

The seat itself is very light in my opinion. I was told a while back that it was super heavy and bulky but I think the lady was carrying it with the base on because I found it to be light and easy to hold even while 36 weeks pregnant.

Cons

The base weighs more than the seat itself, when the seat came in and we were reading over the guide book and putting it in my husbands car he had to carry it all himself as the base was so heavy and bulky I couldn?t lift it with out feeling strained.
