Chicco Lullago Portable Bassinet - Iris

My twins were born ten weeks early just this year and one was discharged from hospital four days before the other. This product made it so easy to stay close to the twin in the hospital. We also love how simple this product is to set up and take down. This is a must for anyone who has a baby. Thank you

We just recently received this bassinet and truly could not be happier with it. My wife and I needed a safe and smart solution so that we could keep our newborn next to us in bed and this bassinet is doing just the trick. Co-sleeping is not a habit that we're interested in starting and we're not ready to move him to his room just yet, especially as our 2 year old is directly across the hall and we're happy that at least one of us is getting proper sleep in this household.
It probably took about 2 minutes from the opening of the box to having this fully functional bassinet all put together. Breaking it down for travel is even easier as Chicco includes a nylon sling that it simply tucks into. We've already tossed it in the car for a little weekend getaway to the in-laws (babysitters) and it's totally ideal to travel with and set back up. The construction of this little sleeper is top-notch as well. The legs are incredibly solid but not overwhelming so, the mattress is cushioned but not soft to any worrying degree, and the mesh sides are perfect as he's a pretty hot sleeper. This is honestly a perfect bassinet that I know will be with us for a good ling while and get ample use. We received this bassinet a few weeks ago for our new baby. It was very easy to assemble and is the perfect height to be placed next to our bed. It also seems very sturdy. We also wanted to see how easy it was to disassemble so we can take it with us when we go out of town to visit family often. It was very easy and all the pieces fit easily back in the bag it came in. We've been using the new LullaGo Portable Bassinet in our first-floor living room for times we would like to keep our baby close, rather than taking him upstairs to sleep in his main bassinet in our room. The mattress sits 16" off of the floor, which sometimes feels pretty low, but it is also a great height so that we can still see him while we're on the couch or sitting nearby.

The bassinet came in a box smaller than I expected, which was easy to bring inside, open up, and set up the product by myself during a short nap. The pieces click into place very easily, similar to the other Chicco products we have, which makes for a no-sweat set-up and tear-down process. Price includes a zip-off, washable mattress sheet and lightweight carrying bag, so it's perfect for taking to a quick overnight at Grandma's, or even a dinner party for naps.

It has a sleek, no-frills design which is a breath of fresh air in a world of brightly colored, overly patterned baby gear.

The main cons I see are that the mattress sags a slight bit in the middle, due to it folding for portability, and the travel bag doesn't close, which may make it a bit awkward when traveling with lots of baby stuff, as we do anytime we're on the go with our kiddo. You would have to further secure it for airline travel. I can deal with these things for its simple design and easy set-up.

I really love this product. I use it quite often! First, I love that it is so easy to transport, not too heavy and easily stored in a shoulder bag. Broken down, it doesn't take up much space in my trunk and I can easily fit it in alongside the stroller. It also could go in the back seat right next to the car seat if needed. The bassinet is also super quick and easy to set up, 5 pieces total and does not take up much space when assembled. I also love the neutral gray color it comes in. It's sturdy and the mattress insert has a removable a washable cover. My son is 2 mo and has used it every time we've gone over to my mother in law's house and falls asleep quickly when I lay him in it for a nap. The mattress insert is very firm, but does dip slightly in the middle as a result of it needing to be folded in order to disassemble the product. I also like the mesh breathable sides. I felt comfortable as a first time mom using this product-knowing my little kiddo would sleep safely and soundly. I received this product from Chicco for an honest review of the product.

This bassinet was very sturdy and easy to put together. I loved the changeable cover on the mat and the mesh sides. This product is easy to pack up and take on the go! I am excited to use this for my little peanut. It will be so easy to pull close the the bed and night and push away during the day.

I was very impressed with this bassinet! When first opening it and assembling, I was pleased with how simple and quick it was to put together. I was able to do it on my own, without my husband's help, in less than 5 minutes, and it feels quite secure and steady. I was also pleasantly surprised at the size of it! It's a bit larger than other bassinets I've seen, so my baby will have more room to grow in it, yet is still a perfect size and height for sitting next to my bed. I love the mesh sides, for easy breathing even if my baby's face ends up against the side of it, and makes it easy for me to be able to peek in on her while laying in bed. The pocket on the side is handy for keeping supplies for those quick, middle of the night diaper changes. I love that it has a bag for convenient traveling, however it would be nice if it had a zipper, especially if using air travel. I also think it might be difficult to find sheets that fit inside, since it is such a unique size. Overall, I am very satisfied with this bassinet and look forward to using it until our baby grows out of it! Chicco provided me with this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love this bassinet! Our son was born 4 weeks early and had some respitory difficulties so we really only felt comfortable laying him on flat surfaces. This bassinet is great!! It's not too big or too small. We keep ours on our main floor for him to sleep in during the day. I have the color sand, it's a great neutral greige color. It is super easy to assemble and collapse. The legs click on and off and it folds up nicely in a bag. I think this would be much easier to pack for travel than a pack n play. The only thing I don't like- mine seems to not lay totally flat, it dips very slightly in the middle where the seam of the mattress is. Not sure if this is on purpose or
not. The mattress cover can be wiped clean but leaves a slight water stain.

As a first time mom I was overwhelmed by my options for a bassinet. However, look no further! When the Chicco LullaGo arrived I was impressed from the start. It arrived quickly and right to my door! I immediately opened it thinking it would take me an hour to figure out, nope! When I opened the box all of the materials were in the spacious travel bag provided. It came with the collapsible base, four legs, and the inside insert. THATS IT! There were only four pieces of garbage, plus the box, which I LOVED! The instructions were included, but there was no need for them! I was able to set this up by meself, no husband required, in less than 5 minutes! The tear down for travel was just as easy! Four clicks for the legs, two clicks for the collapsible base, and one fold! The best part was that it all fit, with room to spare, in the travel bag! It's light weight to carry and would easily fit into a compact car! It also fit right next to our bedside for easy baby reach. It's easy to move to room to room and high enough those curious toddler have a hard time reaching in! Also, as a first time mom sleeping safety is so important. It has breathable mesh, great for toddler peaking, but not touching, on the sides and even had pockets for storage for those late night feedings. I promise this baby product is almost too good to be true!

I received this bassinet 2 weeks ago. I love how easy it is to put together and break down. It literally takes less than 2 minute. I also love the mesh sides and how easy it is to see through the bassinet. The height is great to! We have previously used a high bassinet. I love that this one is lower.
