NextFit® iX Zip also features a zip-off seat pad for easy cleaning.

Easy installation

NextFit® iX features a ReclineSure® leveling system and RideRight® bubble level-indicators to help achieve and verify proper angle in the vehicle seat. With nine recline positions, ReclineSure® is designed to accommodate a wider range of vehicles in both rear-facing and forward-facing modes. For installation with LATCH, premium connectors and a SuperCinch® force-multiplying tightener help achieve a secure fit with a fraction of the effort. (When it’s time to switch from rear-facing to forward-facing, the LATCH strap passes easily through the built-in slide path for proper re-positioning.) For installation with the vehicle seatbelt, clear belt routing and LockSure™ lock-offs make it easy to position, tighten and lock the belt into place.

Solid, comfortable seat

We owned a Chicco keyfit 30 for our oldest as an infant and switched to a different brand when we moved them to a convertible seat. After a terrible customer service experience with that other brand, I returned to Chicco and purchased this seat. It was well worth the price, and after more than a year, I can say that it has held up so well. If we had not had another baby, our 5 year old would continue to use this seat, forward facing (she is over 40#), but we are going to move our infant to it soon as our keyfit is expiring. Absolutely love the install, the comfort, the style, and the durability. It seems so safe and is not falling apart like the other brand's carseat did.

Easiest carseat

I love the Chicco NextFit for two reasons, it is by far the quickest/easiest install of any carseat. Now with the zip it is the easiest carseat to breakdown and wash, you just unzip the cover wash and zip it back on.

Best Uses

We use this carseat for my husband, his work provides him a vehicle that he has to take the carseats out often. With the Chicco Nextfits, m kids are safe, comfy and swapping carseats takes only minutes.

We love this carseat. We already own one for our daughter and now bought another one for our son. This carseat is easy to clean (cover zips right off) and easy to use. It also has the highest rating on consumer reports which was very important to us.

I love this car seat. I bought it to put in my SUV for my small three-month-old granddaughter, who I have with me much of the time. It is so comfortable for her and I like that it is so simple to adjust the harness straps. The nine reclining positions will be quite nice for her future travels with Grandma:Road Runner. I would certainly recommend this car seat.

We got a Chicco Nextfit a couple years ago when insurance was paying for it after I got rear ended. When I went to get a convertible for my second child I thought I would save some money and went with a different brand. As soon as it arrived I could tell it was flimsy compared to my sons Nextfit. Needless to say we returned the first one and purchased a Nextfit for baby #2.

Better than Graco 4ever all in one convertible car seat

We have both this and the Graco 4ever all in one convertible car seat and must say that this is more expensive for a reason: it's way more comfortable for the baby. Chicco is much better for a napping baby, which is often if your commute is long, while the Graco is more upright so baby's head ends up lolling around on the neck much like how one would sleep in an economy seat on a flight. The steeper price point is worth it in my opinion and definitely recommend this as your go to once baby graduates from the infant car seat.
