Simple fun is sometimes the best fun
February 23, 2019
While as many have mentioned, the halves stick and are hard to take apart, they are still interesting to my baby as balls which she can roll and throw. She also enjoys stacking them. I can see this toy growing with my child as her motor skills and imagination develop. I think it is important to balance flashy, technology driven toys with those which put the onus on the child to creatively figure out what would be fun to do with simple objects. So, this is a winner in our book!

Love this toy!

I bought this for Christmas for my grandson. He seems to enjoy the stack cups but he LOVES the smiley ball! He can find it deep in his toy box every time! I wish that I could buy just the smiley balls!

Love this toy

I work at a Children's Centre and this is a great (and popular) toy that we use in therapy sessions. Trouble is that it is so difficult to take apart and put back together. I was looking at getting a couple more for our use but am having second thoughts as this is very frustrating.

Difficult to take apart
July 24, 2018
This toy is nearly impossible for me to take apart. How is my 22-month old expected to do it? There are so many other, better, counting toys out there that I would recommend long before suggesting this toy to someone. This this is nothing more than a ball that makes noise in my house. Such a disappointment.

doesn't come apart easily
April 19, 2018
my baby love this toy, when I can finally get the cups apart. he loves the colors and the rattle center ball and the cups. the only downside to this toy is mom or dad has to man handle a few of the cups/bowls apart (and I mean man handle, currently I'm wrestling with the 3 and 4 cups and they will not seperate). if they were easier to come apart this toy would be perfect.

I love the idea
October 4, 2017
We loved the idea of these different ways of putting cups together kept our little one busy and interested . But i must say parts are hard to assembly and getting stuck making this toy really frustrating even for the adult not to mention the kid that doesn't have the strength to put them together or apart - especially parts 5- 6 . Overall fun toy but as i said frustrating at times

Do not come apart!
April 24, 2017
Some parts were difficult to put together and now impossible to take apart. The 5 & 6 are stuck!! They are put together straight, so I don't know why we can't fix this. Not sure about smaller numbers, as we can't get to them. If adults can't do this, how can a child? Very frustrating!

Cannot pry them apart
March 5, 2017
My son loved these at first, but after putting them all together we couldn't get them apart. I finally managed to use a knife to get them apart. He put them back together though and once again I cannot separate them. Even using a knife didn't work! I'm done with this you. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because they are a great idea and well made.

A surprise hit!
December 31, 2016
I bought these as a stocking stuffer for my 14-month-old, thinking she'd have fun pulling out each piece. That's about all I expected. Turns out, they're really fun! She stacks them, flings them under the sofa, rolls them, nests them, bangs them, and hides things in them, sometimes for 15-20 minutes - which as we all know, in toddler time is like 10 hours. All I have to do is nest them neatly, and place them in the middle of the living room floor, and she heads over there like a magnet. Even my 4 year old gets into the fun. And together, we make towers, click them together to make balls, hide things inside the balls, hide things under the cups and scramble them to play hide and seek, stack them different ways, turn them into earmuffs and silly noses and hats and megaphones, and of course, fling them (and fish them out from) under the sofa. I've had mixed luck with "open-ended" toys - but these have been really quite the hit.

BEST & MOST AFFORDABLE TOY EVER!!!
September 19, 2016
We received this as a gift & initially I didn't see the appeal of this amazing toy, by my son LOVED it & has continued to play with all the plastic balls and pieces they real down into DAILY. He is now 13 months and STILL plays with the parts! He loves the little yellow ball that it comes with too! The ball makes a rattling sound and is the perfect size for little hands. I would actually say this is an amazing baby shower gift. It will become one of my go to baby shower gifts from now on! Thank you, Fisher Price!

Holds baby's interest. Hard to see numbers.
August 10, 2016
Grandchild is 6 months, not yet sitting alone. But she picks up the cups from a high chair tray or creeps to get them. She loves to shake or bat the smiling rattle ball! My only complaint is that for future numbers learning, this set does not have the numbers highlighted in white as in these pictures. It's hard to see the numbers.

My twin boys can't get enough of them!
April 29, 2016
We got the set for the boys' firsth birthday. As one of the boys has an obsession with balls and tossing whatever he gets hold of, we knew he'd love the toy. The other one loves everything that has a lid on, to take it off and put it back on. This toy offers both. I've read that a customer had difficulty parting the halves, but it's a comment from two years ago. The problem must have been solved as we don't have the problem. The boys have figured out that if they bounced them with great force against the wooden floor, they'd crack open. I thought the parts would not survive for longer than a week, due to the impact, but even after three months of relentless use and bouncing, they have not had a single crack! Well done! And on the Toy Top Chart, this one is still the boys' N1.

good toy

We bought this toy for 9 month old son and he likes it. We like it too since there are many ways to play with this toy. We have fun together stacking the bowl and making big balls. He likes to shake the rattling sound yellow ball and roll the rest of pieces around.

Excellent baby and toddler toy
September 23, 2014
My grandchildren have had this toy for 2 years now. I bought it for my grandson when he was just a year old. He had fun learning to stack the bowls on top of each other. As he got older, he enjoyed putting the pieces together to make balls. My daughter used it with him as a toddler to practice learning his numbers. Now baby sister plays with it too! This is a great toy - well worth the $10.

This is a great all in one toy! It's a stacker and shows them numbers which is great so children as they get older. It also teaches them colors. The parts fit together to make 5 additional balls. The little ball on top fits inside of any of them and makes a fun rattling noise that babies love. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Great stacking toy
August 27, 2014
This is a great stacking toy. You can play with it many different ways. You can stack them on top of each other (as shown in the picture), make them into balls by snapping them together, or make one big ball by snapping them together in order. The little happy face ball rattles. My children have enjoyed this simple and fun toy.

Love the toy, if I could only get it opened!
August 26, 2014
I have a daycare with my granddaughter as one of my children in care. I had purchased this toy for her when she was 6 months old. It is a great toy when it is opened and able to stack and play with the ball, etc. But opening is a joke! I have had every parent come in and try it and no one can open it. I can open it only by using my fingernails in the grooves. Not one of my daycare children, even the 8 year olds can figure it out. Anyone have any ideas? I would love to find out how to open it easily, so it can be played with more. As much as I love playing with the children, I don't want to have to open this toy all day long. Please help.

Excelent toy
May 4, 2014
I am very satisfied with this toy. It is 5 in one toy. You can create different shapes. My son is 1 year old and he shows great interest for this toy. My expirience is that all the Fisher price toys we use are one of the best that we have. We live in Serbia, and prices of Fisher price products here are much higher but anyway, I think that all money that we spent on Fisher price toys are very good investment in the nice time spent with our son. This toy is very good since it is creative, does not need much place for storage and can be combined with other different toys and games. I am so charmed with Fischer Price product that I was thinking of opening official representative office for Serbia in order to put on our market also some other nice Fischer Price products. All the best!

Good Quality

I received the bowls as a gift. They are durable and both my girls (4yrs and 7 months) enjoy playing with them. My only disappointment is that we only have even numbered bowls, so we cannot stack all of them. :( Otherwise this is a nice product with a lot of play value.

Multiply toys in one
February 22, 2013
Stacker, nesting cups, & balls in one affordable toy. Does hold a child's interest but not always for what the toy does. I find both of my younger kids "exploring" with this toy.Hiding other object in the balls or under the cups. Trying to stack, nest or just play.Love the bright colors & that they are numbered. They don't have to be in order to stack either. The only complaint I have is it can be hard to snap together for young ones. It is so easy to clean & doesn't take up a lot of space. Well worth every penny even if they never stack it all up the "right" way.

This was given to my ...
December 22, 2012
This was given to my daughter when she was one, and it has been one of the most versatile toys we have! At three, she still plays with it. The ball spends more time apart from the set than with it, being perfect for rolling down the hallway, but she loves to play with the spheres and use them as hiding places for finger puppets and other small toys.

Hard to play with
August 23, 2012
We thought these would be really fun for our LO. The pieces stick together very tough. we had to pry it open with a knife the first time. We figured once we used it a few times it would come apart easier. Not the case. If we cant even open it hoe is a baby supposed to.

Frustrating toy
March 11, 2012
This toy was bought for my classroom. and while the colors and durability was very appealing, the children quickly became frustrated with it and moved on to other toys. They enjoy playing with the individual cups, and also when they are put together to form balls. However, this toy is very difficult to pull apart when nested all together. the children bring it to me and there are times that even I cannot get it apart!! they also cannot get them to stack together, they just seem to rounded for that, and the children can't get them to "click" in the grooves. Again they bring it to me to do. However, they do get a lot of socialization from wearing the individual cups as hats :)

great concept
December 16, 2011
I thought this product looked very versatile so I picked it up for my twins. It is a fine product when it is apart but even my husband has a hard time separating the pieces. My friend purchased the same product and has the complaint. The kids have fun with it but it is so hard to get it a part that it often gets put up and not used. On the plus side it is very durable.

My son's favourite toy
January 31, 2011
This toy was given to my son when he was born. He is now 21 months and still loves playing with it. As his skill levels develop he is able to play with this toy in more sophisticated ways: stacking, rolling, spinning, sorting & When he was just 10 months old we went on a 6 week holiday and this was the only toy we took with him and he loved it.

Loves these
May 27, 2010
My 1 year old son loves these cups! He loves to put other toys in them and walk around with them. When we make them into balls, he rolls them around. He's even learned to make them "hats" and will walk over and put one on your head. They are very versital and can be used in so many imaginative ways.

Another toy we got when ...
January 15, 2010
Another toy we got when our daughter was probably a little older than would hold her interest in it, but when we do take it out on occasion, she really likes shaking the head or chasing after a rolling ball made of cups put together. Not big on the stacking though.

Best Baby toy
January 5, 2010
We purchased this toy for our third child, he's 7 months, the other two are 2 and 4. All three enjoy playing with this toy, they each play with it at their own level. It holds all of their interests, there are so many ways to play with it. It is the most versitile toy, to entertain a 7 month old and 4 year old. Something the baby will grow with.

More than just a stacking toy
December 6, 2009
Most stacking toys I've seen have been fairly simplistic: The objects stack, they might nest, but that's about it. This product consists of ten well-engineered plastic hemispheres that snap together in a variety of ways, numbered 1 to 10, plus a metallic jingle ball head. The pieces stack or nest, as they should. Because of their shape and molded grooves, any two bowls will snap together; for instance, any of the 7, 8, 9 and 10 pieces will snap onto the 6 piece. Pieces are designed to snap together firmly enough to hold together, but lightly enough for an infant to pull them apart; for the most part, the reality lives up to the design, erring to the side of being too easy in some cases to pull apart. In addition, because they're hemispheres, any two consecutive pieces will snap together to form a ball. This allows you to create up to five balls of increasing size; it also allows for easy storage, because all of the balls (including the head) nest together. And of course, the bright pastel colors hold an infant's interest. My son enjoys banging the pieces together and knocking over my constructions. The hemispheres also have a flat spot at the end for stacking pieces end-to-end, but that tends to be unstable. The one improvement I would suggest is that some sort of grooving be added to the flat spots to allow better end-to-end stacking. However, there are so many other ways to play with these that this drawback is only a minor one.
