Fisher-Price Bubble Mower

I bought this for my 2year old son. It worked 1 day since then nothing. Tried every kind of bubbles, even rinsed it clean and started from scratch and no bubbles. My baby boy is heartbroken as this was his birthday gift and couldn't wait for it to arrive. W are extremely disappointed with this product

My son was so excited to get this, but alas, no bubbles. Not even one. We thought our son wasn't pushing it fast enough so we each tried and still no bubbles. The mower also leaks terribly. Bubble solution everywhere. It doesn't matter if you only fill it to the line, overfill it, or under fill it, it just leaks. Now we have a very disappointed two year old and a soapy bubble mess to clean up.

My son got this as a gift and it only lasted one summer before it just quit blowing bubbles. Very disappointed in this product. I expected it to last a few summers especially since it was stored inside when not in use. Fisher price toys are not what they use to be.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my son's second birthday. We finally opened it today. It doesn't make bubbles, it leaks, it is such a let down; my son loves bubbles and I couldn't wait for him to be able to make his own. Terrible!

I purchased the bubble mower for my Granddaughter and it didn't blow any bubbles. It also leaked the bubbles out of the bottom so I went to the store and exchanged it. We figured that this item had a glitch. Well, guess what? The 2nd Bubble Mower is exactly the same. What a disappointment! I have never seen junk from Fisher Price...

I was disappointed after u purchased online to discover that there are no longer dials and switcheson the handle off the mower ( whichever my daughter loves on her friends older mower). And my mower barely produce any bubbles. my daughter was very disapppinted.

We received this as a gift for my two year old son. As stated in other reviews, NO BUBBLES AND THE BUBBLE SOLUTION LEAKED FROM THE BOTTOM! My little one was so upset. He cried and cried. What a piece of junk.

We have always been Fisher Price fans and owned several BUBBLE MOWERS throughout our kids and now we are starting on our grandchildren! Wish we would have kept the older ones as they still worked and were wonderful then. Thank you Fisher Price for the great products you produce!!

The boys ...my two grandsons (cousins) had a blast with these. Given to them at the same time, they played for at least an hour going every which way...giggling and laughing !

My son just got this for his 3rd bday , we tried it yesterday, it worked good so far & I haven't noticed any leaking bubbles even after refilling it twice b/c he wouldn't stopping running all over the yard with it. I noticed that the bumps in the grass shook up the bubbles a bit so when they started to blow they were too foamy & didn't blow but I'm not sure much can be done for that? My husband did rinse it w/ the hose afterward so I'm hoping it won't disappoint!

I bought this bubble blower for my 18 month old son for Easter. He is a huge fan of bubbles and anything he can push around, so we were very disappointed that the bubbles only blew for a few minutes then stopped. We read the box and the paper included in the box and followed the instructions to "clean out the bubble reservoir." It worked for another few minutes, then no bubbles again. We also read to make sure we were using the correct type of bubbles, we are. My son isn't old enough to understand that it isn't working, and that I can't fix it, so he gets upset that it does not work. Wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased this.

Unfortunately this toy is not worth the money, my son used it once & it worked great & he loved the bubbles. Went to refill it with bubbles & it leaked & hardly any bubbles came out. Tried it a few more times with the same results, bubble solution leaked out the bottom & maybe one bubble came out while it was being pushed. Huge disappointment, sorry to say.

Not as many bubbles as expected when mowing. The bubble bottle broke after quite some time which was OK. Mower is on the 3rd grandchild. Only problem was when the bubble bottle finally broke, I had a hard time finding a new one locally. I had to order off Fisher Price site, and it was expensive. The grandkids loved it, even without the bubbles not working, so I would recommend this, as the basic mower did hold up well.

My 2 year old son got this for his birthday gift. He was so excited. We got it all set up worked great the first time. He only used this on our deck for the first time, we went to refill the mower with bubbles and the mower leaked all the bubbles we put in, all over our deck. He is very good with his toys and we couldn't believe this only lasted him one time. I can't believe the quality of toys these days.

My son loves this toy so much, but it is sooooo loud. I wish there was a switch to disable the noise so we could use this toy indoors too without going insane. The noise is so loud you can't carry on a conversation while he plays. Is there a work-around to disable the noise?

Bubble solution flows away faster than it produces bubbles. There is no fun in such a machine, which you have to re-fill literally every step of your way.
There is no assembly needed, the machine is suppose to be used as is, so we couldn't make any mistake here.
We will return the toy and say that its broken.

I got this as a gift from a friend and my son loves the noise it makes and it's very sturdy for him to use. But the bubbles don't really come out do great:( it worked a couple of times and he was enthralled by it, but it's a shame that the bubbles don't come out fully and they just pop right at the entrance. Otherwise it would be an awesome product. So I gave it 3 stars because half of the attraction is the bubbles and that doesn't work. But I do like the bright colors and the sturdyness of this toy!

I bought this for my 2 yr old son who loves being outside blowing bubbles and thought it would make an ideal toy for the summer. Had originally gotten a different brand from a friend as gift and exchanged it as I thought Fisher Price brand was a better quality. But from day one the bubble function didn't work properly. We tried cleaning it out and refilling bubbles several times but still only makes a few bubbles here and there. Even though it's advertised as making lots of bubbles this toy just doesn't do that!

I bought this for my grandson on his birthday. Not only is toy very noisy, it didn't even produce the bubbles it is intended to do. We have more fun blowing bubbles from a wand.

The bubble function never worked from the second we pulled it out of the box. All of the solution leaked from the bottom and it never made a single bubble. We joked that it was leaking oil like a real mower. However with the realistic motor sounds my toddler still loves it. He's pushed it for miles! Too bad it can't actually cut our grass. We'll continue to use the toy, just no bubbles!

My son loves to be just like dad mowing the yard. The bubbles are great but that feature easily was broken. He didn't care and still plays with it regardless of bubbles.

I recently purchased this bubble mower for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. A couple months before that i had purchased him a no brand name bubble mower and it stopped working the first day he used it. So i thought i would by a Fisher Price Brand thinking it would last. Wrong!!!! Did the same thing the other mower did. Stopped blowing bubbles. Did trouble shooting but nothing helps. So my grandson has lost interest in another mower. Very disappointed.

We purchased a FP Bubble Mower back in 1987 when our son was then 2 years old. It worked great and he had hours and hours of fun with it. Approximately 2 years ago, we purchased the Bubble Mower for our grandson. No matter what we did the bubbles barely came out. I contacted FP and they were gracious enough to replace it. However even the replacement one did not work any better. I just wish they could make them like they use to in 1987.

Bought the mower and every time we try to use it no bubbles at all. Read the reviews and tried numerous things including cleaning and different bubbles still don't work very disappointed as is my son who would love it if it worked right.

My daughter was given this mower when she was 2yr old (8 yr ago) She couldn't use it well - she was too short- and original bubbles weren't the best. Had to go fast to blow a stream of bubbles. Mega bubbles are worse. Gazillion bubbles are great. At 3 she could make bubbles constantly except on wet grass. And 8 years later- it's still going and my THREE kids fight over it every Spring - I keep it going for visiting little ones - my Sister's 4yr old grandson Orion pushed it for 2 hrs last week at Easter. When the original solution bottle dis-integrated, we used a salad dressing bottle that fit the lid & held more solution- until I can get another - a great product !

We bought 5 of these for my 3 year old son's birthday party. The kids loved them! It takes a little effort to get the bubbles going and we eventually got all of them to work. However, the kids loved the mowers even when the bubbles were not coming out. I would buy them again for this purpose.

The first bubble mower I received did not work, it wouldn't blow any bubbles. I looked at all the reviews and did what everyone suggested: cleaned it out, started again, diluted the bubbles, tried some different bubbles, but it just didn't work...the blue wheel had bubble solution in the holes but it seemed that there was just no air coming out of the outlet to push any bubbles out...so I sent it back. The new one arrived this morning from the online store I bought it from, no quibbles, and once I'd pressed down the bubble container for the 15 seconds and started pushing it, immediately a massive stream of bubbles came pouring out! My little girl laughed so much and followed me round the garden shouting 'more!'...very pleased with it now!!

At first like others I was unable to get this mower to blow bubbles but then I read the directions and found that you have to push down on the bubbles bottle to "fill up" to mower. Once I had done that it started working great. My son though is a little to young to push it easily and the noise scares him right now, but when he is older I believe he will love it.

My son recieved this lawn mower as a gift a few months back and we could not get the bubbles to work. I tried several times to get it to work, but it really never did. My dear son even tried running with it a few times and he would get a bubble here and there but nothing like the picture. We finally just gave up because it was just too messy to keep wasting all the bubble soap. My son still likes to push the mower and has fun with it but we are disappointed at the fact that it didn't do what it was suppose to. This would have been a great product if it actually worked especially for a toddler who doesn't quite understand how to blow bubbles yet, but understands how to push a toy to make bubbles. Basically, its a toddler walker without the bubble fun.

The Easter Bunny brought our daughter a bubble mower. She has been waiting for summer to get here so she could use it. Unfortunately we have not had any luck making bubbles! If I run very fast a push down hard on the mower a couple bubbles come out. However she cannot get any to come out even when she runs. I am very sad that this toy doesn't work.

I was so excited to bring this home for my daughter to play with because she LOVES bubbles! However, when I got the mower put together and out for her to play with, no bubbles. I am so disappointed with this toy and have always been a big Fisher Price supporter in the past.

My daughter pushed one of these around the store and seemed to be having fun so I bought it. When I brought it home and tried to use it not a single bubble came from the mower. I washed it out several times and even tried to use 3 different kinds of bubble solution. What a waste of time. Do not buy this.

I originally gave this toy a very poor rating due to the fact that the replacement bubble bottles were way too expensive and because my son had to practically run with the mower just for the bubbles to come out. However, after I left that review, I was contacted by Fisher price. They sent me a brand new mower without me even asking for one! Also, it looks like they corrected the flaws. This one works great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the replacement bubble bottles are not sold in stores (not that I can find). If you order them from Fisher price, they are only $3, but you have to pay $5 for shipping. Thank you, Fisher Price, for your excellent customer service!

Pour bubbles in and it works. My son runs every where he goes so pushing this thing slow you will not get bubbles. Once your done do as instructions say and take a water hose to it to rinse out old bubble stuff. Honestly seem to sometimes work better to not to do anything at all to it unless you get dirt or grass in it. Works!! great for us.

I've searched everywhere and cannot find a replacement bottle for the bubble mower. I tried unsuccessfully to buy a bottle of bubbles close to the same size opening but no go. Frustrating.

Fisher Price usually gets it right. Not this time. The bubbles spilled out on my pants right after I refilled it. A whole bottle of bubbles may blow out two to three bubbles. My son has to run with it to get the bubbles out. His pushes it for maybe a minute and then plays with something else. It is a cute idea, however it just doesn't work.

You would think that with a name like "bubble mower" there would be bubbles involved....well you thought wrong and so did I. The toy does not work, at all, and I wish I could give the ratings zero stars but that just was not an option.

So, i always wanted one of these and bought one for my grandson. You have to run really fast, adult fast, to make the bubbles come out on the driveway, barely any on grass. I added glycerin to the bubbles and it improved. But all in all, a disappointment. The bubbles were more attractive than the mowing.

The product looks great and my kids love bubbles. The big problem is that it doesn't blow bubbles. The best that I can get is that is blows maybe one bubble and it has to be moving much faster than my 2.5 year old can push it. I have gone through the troubleshooting steps provided online but to no avail. The idea is really good, but the execution is extremely poor. This is pretty much a toy lawn mower and not a bubble lawn mower.

I would not purchase this thing! It is awful, it does not make bubbles. All it does is make this really annoying sound and makes a mess. I have wasted I do not know how much money to buy bubbles where the come out so easily trying to get it to work for my son. He loves bubbles and I wish it would have worked because he would have loved it. He wants nothing to do with it. Plus the handle constantly falls off. They need to take this off the market, it is a piece of junk.

I bought this mower for my niece. She is 3 now, but began using the mower last year when she was 2, and she has a blast every time she plays with it! While it is true that it doesn't create a lot of bubbles, we have been able to figure out a good pace to create a decent number of bubbles. It's tricky, you just have to work with it a little bit. And yes, the bubble solution does leak out if you tip the mower, but there is a warning in the product information alerting you to this fact. Read the packaging and product insert before you use it - and be patient with it - and you should be fine.

I purchased the Bubble Mower as an Easter gift for our grandson. He enjoys pushing the mower and the noises it makes; however, the bubble making mechanism is an extremely poor design. The bubble solution leaks out very easily. I could live with this since it is meant to be an outdoor toy, but there are few, if any, bubbles. Follwed the directions exactly. Did the troubleshooting and cleaned the mower as instructed and bought better bubble solution. Still no bubbles. Even took the mechanism apart to see if I could find the problem. No luck. I believe I purchased something like this for my children about 20 years ago, and it worked much better. Definitely not the quality I expect from Fisher Price. Will read reviews before I purchase again!

I bought this for my grandson. Wish I had researched it before purchasing. The mower does not make bubbles. It simply leaks the solution all over. What happened Fisher Price? A dissappointment to say the least. A credit or coupon for the purchase price would be nice! After reading reviews I wonder why this toy is still being sold

i have twin 2 1/2 daughters and i decided to buy 2 of these, can't get by with just 1 when you have twins. i bought expensive bubbles also to go with them. well if you run, you might get some bubbles, if you walk, it just sputters out. so basically i wasted money and bubbles. i went through a huge container of the bubbles just trying to figure whats going on. on the instructions, it says to walk and not run. well then you just get solution sputtering out where the bubbles are spose to be. read reviews before consideration.
