Fisher-Price Rainforest Friends Deluxe Cradle 'n Swing

I like this product because it is a lot more colorful than most of the other swings out there. The controls are easy to use and the entire swing unit is a lot smaller and compact compared to other ones. I love that because it fits in my smaller house better.

My newborn love the swing and most important it makes him sleepy! The cradle is soft and comfortable for him. And I love how the swing works on AC adapter too. No more batteries needed! And I like how there are different mode of swing. Instead of just forward and back. Most important is my newborn love it!

I have taken my time with this product to use every feature and to really put it to the test. Once I received my swing, I was easily capable of putting it together within 20 minutes by myself. I was a little skeptical about the stability of the swing and found that if you do not make sure that the legs are FULLY spread apart it can/will rock when you turn it on. When moving the swing, the legs will move slightly which is enough to cause the rocking. I placed my 5 month old 14 lb daughter in the swing and she fits in it much better than I expected, I was afraid she might be too big for it. When turning on the swing feature, there is a very loud cranking sound from the motor that is impossible to avoid, but it does help to "push" the swing a little bit to get it started. This was incredibly irritating as if my daughter was napping, it would be loud enough to wake her up. The mobile feature is honestly my daughters favorite! it spins around and the leaves and the animals move up and down as well as spin and with that plus the mirror, I really feel like it keeps my daughters attention. The music on the swing is okay at best. My daughter loves white-noise and there is only one setting with it but its not a soft sound at all. The other sounds such as the jungle sound and "rainforest" type sound are what you would typically expect but nothing of "wow" factor. The range is nice as you can have it very low where you can barely hear it to very loud where you could hear it over a tv. The biggest issue I have with it is that after about 20 minutes, the music and the mobile turn off with no option to have it last longer. The fact that it swings in 3 different positions is a key factor for me. My oldest daughter hated being swung from side to side but loved front to back and now my 5 month old loved being swung from front to back. Being able to try out both in one product is amazing! Overall, my daughter loves this swing and can stay in it for up to 3 hours ( if she falls asleep for her nap in it ) without a problem. She enjoys the speed of the swing, LOVES the mobile, and enjoys the music selection. I just wish that the motor wasn't so loud when turning it on and that the music and mobile would have an option to make them last longer than 20 minutes.

My daughter absolutely loves this swing. It is the only place in our house where she will lay awake, contented and cooing, before slowly drifting off to sleep. She loves looking at the colorful animal mobile and the songs and sounds captivate her. It is incredibly versatile with the multiple reclining positions as well as the two swinging directions. I also love that it comes with an AC adapter! This swing will have something that every child will love and I know I will dread the day when she grows too large to use it because it will definitely be missed!

I got the swing pretty quickly. I was able to put it together by myself quite easily. My daughter loves it. It goes both side to side and front to back. She prefers the side to side. She's come to love the mobile. She loves to look at herself in it! I like that you can plug it in instead of wasting lots of batteries. It has different speeds & the volume for the music. You can take the cover off easily to wash it, which I've already had to do! I would definitely recommend this swing!

I like that this swing, swings in 2 different directions. My child prefers to swing head to toe rather than side to side but sometimes she likes to switch it up and it's very easy to fix. I had bought a used swing before receiving this one and I didn't realize how big of a difference a mobile would make. In her old swing she would only be calm for about 10 minutes where as I can put her in this one for about half an hour which is enough time for me to clean up around the house! Seriously this swing is such a blessing because this mama was becoming overwhelmed with having a baby who only wanted to be held.

I received this product this last week for my son and so far it is great, far better than my previous older model from Fisher Price. The width of the floor base is almost half the size of older models so much easier to make room in any household for this. I really like the deeper seat that cradles baby into a cozy position. I also like that the safety harness now comes down the shoulders for extra protection instead of just a lap belt. My son loves the bright and colorful mobile with mirror, he stares in awe while giving little smiles. The gentle swaying motion calms him down in the crankiest of times and he almost always dozes off after a short bit. The music is a little more upbeat than my previous model so I do turn it down since I would rather him not get more stimulated when he needs to settle down. Seems very sturdy and is easy to quick fold up out of the way.

The adjustable incline is nice for moving baby if they are awake or sleeping. It has several different songs, which is nice for adults, so we don't have to hear the same song over and over again!! This swing is incredibly awesome. I place my baby in the swing and it has 2 recline positions, just right for newborns or for bigger babies. It has 16 tunes for the baby to soothe and have some peace time. It has 6 swing levels and the best part is that you can use it since they're newborn till they're bigger. It is battery operated which is better and you can easily take it anywhere. They toys attached to it are also removable and they help your baby with motor skills. This swing has many many great features this is the best swing anyone can ask for. I will definitely recommend it.

I was able to put it together without any problems. My daughter loves being it because it rocks her to sleep. It is easy to operate. The only thing I didn't like was the sound of the Motor of the swing. Sometimes it was quite and sometimes it was loud. I also like the fact it can be plugged in.

I received this Rainforest Deluxe Cradle 'n Swing from Fisher Price Mattel at no charge for my honest opinion and review. I can definitely say that this baby swing is soft, cozy, the music is incredibly soothing (it was putting my dogs to sleep too) and it's very very lightweignt compared to other swings on the market. Our baby girl loved it so very much. I love that you can change direction of the swing that it can go side to side or rotate the locked seat sideways and it can make the baby go back and forth. It was really easy to assemble so this will come in handy for taking along for family functions at the grandparents homes. The little rain forest animals were eye catching for our daughter. The fabric is extremely soft and gentle and appears easy to remove for washing/cleanup. But this is just all around adorable. And it is very gender neutral if you're looking for something for either or.

I posted a review about this swing saying that it did not come with the correct restraint straps and there was no way to purchase the correct ones. I was immediately contacted by consumer services which, I felt, went above and beyond to correct the issue. I was offered a new swing but I preferred to just get the one strap I needed. After searching, the consultant was able to find it. She sent it along with a gift for my grandson. I have not had an opportunity to use the swing yet but I cannot say enough good things about the customer service. Other companies could learn from them!

Makes lots of noise when swinging. Every few minutes it makes another noise as if it's restarting. Our baby likes it though and doesn't seem to mind. The quality seems good. I just wish it didn't sound so loud.

I bought this swing early on in my pregnancy. Couldn't wait to put my baby in it. When the time came and I put my 4 pound son in it we quickly realized that the swing is very loud. Tried contacting the company about this since it was out of the store warranty period and never heard back. So now we are stuck with a new swing that we can't use.

My new born slept in this swing for the first 6 weeks of her life. The first night we brought her home we tried everything the next day my husband put this swing together and our daughter would sleep for hours in this. At months old my daughter still can't resist, I put her in it and by the time the music stops she is out for a nap.

When I first purchased this swing I was a little remorseful when I realized there is no tray for snacks or bottles. Being a first time mom, I didn't realize how much that wouldn't matter. By the time they are old enough to manage snacks and bottles, they want to sit in a highchair or lap to eat. My son LOVED this swing from the day we bought it. He was about a week old, and the cradle seat is so deep and snug we didn't even have to use the harness right away. (Disclaimer: always use the safety harness when in use. We started when he was about 3 months and starting to arch his back). By the way, I love the harness, it's very user friendly, not too hard to click, and lighweight for the newest of babies. The music is so beautiful, I love to have him in the swing asleep and listen while doing dishes or using my computer. He loves the music too. He is equally happy with the nauture sounds mode, and there is a great volume control from whisper quiet to loud enough to drown out the TV. It also plays long enough for him to fall asleep, where some of his crib mobiles, I have to restart before he is out. The cradle/seat converts easily from side to side motion, to forward and backward, and has a speed control button. Sometimes if he's really tired and still fussy after about 3-5 minutes, I twist the cradle seat (with him in it-no need to stop and remove...nice!) and he goes out like a light. I love that you can raise the mobile to have easier access...he loves looking at the mobile and has started screaming at it and laughing. I think it's because he finally knows it's there and is beginning to see different colors. It seems that the swing is adapting along with his development. Recently a friend watched him for us and we took the swing since it was his first time to a "sitter". Our friend (a mother of 1 with a new one on the way) fell in love with this swing and loves that it plugs in so no rapid draining of expensive batteries. Enjoy this swing and feel very comfortable with your purchase. You will NOT regret it. I'll be sad when he finally outgrows it.

My baby absolutely loves this swing. The music seems to either put her to sleep or calm her down. The nature sounds feature is also nice. The mobile keeps her attention and she loves that the lights change on the mobile. The swing colors aren't too crazy, so it fits in nicely in our house. I like that I can just plug the swing into the wall and not have to worry with batteries. I know it takes batteries if needed, but we have never used them. I have absolutely no complaints and because I love this swing so much, I will continue to buy Fisher Price products.
