Rather disappointed about the latch system as it does not give the seat a better fit then with the car seat. After all a good and comfortable seat.

there is a plastic part to get it right in the car. I love the fact that you can recline without redoing the carseat or scooting the seat around. I bought this seat for my infant, but use this seat for my three year old as well. This seat is great to avoid head slump.I never have to push my childs head back from falling forward. we go on long car rides and this is the seat of choice.I really need to buy two. Each kid should have one! I feel very safe putting either child in this seat.This is the best car seat ever. This is my fourth kid and have been through alot of seats from first years to britex this one stands out from the rest.it offers great side protection,and also doesnt take up as much space in rear facing as my graco infant car seat. great recline, haven't found any other car seat with independent recline like this.

We needed a carseat to put in the backseat of our 2010 Subaru Outback. We have 4 year old twins in boosters so this third seat had to fit with those. This is the perfect seat. It fits perfectly both rear facing and forward facing. It provides a safe ride, and the baby seems very comfortable in it. As a bonus we got it on sale and the shipping was super fast :o) Love Albee Baby and have never been disappointed with a purchase from there yet!

I bought this for my 9 month old daughter. She likes that she can see more in it than in her infant carrier. She seems to be very comfortable in this seat and it was very easy to install.

I bought the car seat based on the reviews - all were right! The car seat fit perfectly in my compact car and was very easy to install. My son just turned a year old when I bough the seat and used it rear facing. He was very comfortable and snoozed often when in the seat. I was recently in a side impact accident and was petrified for the safety of my son, luckily and thanks to the well made seat my son was unscathed and unharmed. The police and fire fighters was also impressed at how the seat was still in proper position even after the collision. I will definitely recommend and purchase again. Will have to contact Albeebaby when they will have new stock!

We had Maxi cosi infant carrier and I was so happy with it that I new I wanted that brand again. They are very popular in Europe and that I how I knew them. The Car Seat is great because it has 4 different ways to reline the seat. The sides are big enough for my boy to sleep comfortable without hurting his neck. It is uper easy to install and even easier to wash the cover. The best thing is the price.... We bought two and payed under 200.You can't beat that!!! Love, love, love it...

This seat has been perfect. Fits in the back of my husbands sports car. The padding is amazing! And I love the recline feature, without having to take the seat out. Just pull the handle, and your little one can dream in comfort. And it comes with a cup holder too! Oh, and the slots to hold the belt out the way is so much nicer to clothing than the one I have in my car that has Velcro.

My 11 month baby falls asleep whenver he is in this carseat.

It is a perfect fit, I researched many seats in fear of it not fitting in both my vehicles. It fits great, better in my equinox than in the suburban but none the less fits good in both(rear facing). It is comfortable for my son and he loves it. He is a big boy for his age but with this seat I am still able to have him rear facing and he is now 8 months and 19lbs and very long but he fits comfortably rear facing.

The Maxi Cosi Priori is the best car seat by far for the price we paid through Albee Baby. We purchased two carseats for both our vehicles. This carseat is perfect for our little girl. It was a smooth transition from infant seat to a convertible seat. I would recomment this seat to anyone.

I absolutely love this seat. My 11 month old is 25 lbs and fits great and still has room to grow with it. It fits great in both vehicles (2006 HHR and 2010 Altima). She loves her seat and the padding is great.

It was easy to install once you've studied the instructions. I believe our daughter is very comfortable in her seat. It fits perfectly to our WV Golf 2002. Love the color and fabric. Very good quality for a very reasonable price.

We love this car seat! My 1-year old daughter is very comfortable in it. Its very easy to recline in from the front in case the child falls asleep. The color goes great with our car and is very practical. To get it installed we took to the local police department and they were very please with it as well. Very reasonably priced. I recommended to my friend and she is very please with it as well.

Overall, this is a great car seat. It is relatively small in size and does what it's supposed to do. There are a couple negatives i'll post here. Overall, I feel the crotch strap is a little tight and doesnt allow for much room for my son. The location may be common for other seats, but comparing it to another seat i use, i feel it's a little "snug."The base latching system only has one pull cord. Compared to the dual pulls on some units, this single pull makes it tougher to get a tight fit. These two issues dropped the rating to 4 stars, but overall still a great seat.

Love this car seatand so does my 9 month old daughter. She outgrew her infant seat so quickly but we are very happy with the maxi cosi convertible car seat. Comfortable, easy to clean and very posh (for those with expensive taste). Excellent bargain for a fabulous car seat.

The car seat itself is very nice, but I found the installation to be very, very difficult and complicated for an older car. Also the directions were hard to follow with too many steps. I do not have the hooks either behind or in front of my vehicle seat to strap. The car seat is still rather loose with the normal shoulder and seat belts. This process was very frustrating and I follow directions well. I do like the little catches on each side of the car seat for the over-the-shoulder restraints. That is a feature not found on other car seats and is very helpful re putting child in seat. The fabric and durability and manufacturing of car seat is excellent, which is why I chose to order this particular brand. It's just the installation for a 15 yr. old sedan that is theproblem.

Loved maxi cosi mico, but this seat stopped her from crying in car seat. Started using at 4 months, wish I would have done sooner. Makes more room in my Audi a4 avant than mico so front seat can almost be fully aft.

Love this seat... It has a lot of padding for a soft comfy ride. My daughter is 13 mths and on the large/tall side and fits great. Also I don't have to worry about her head falling to the side when she falls asleep. Perfect recline

We bought this for grandparent car. It has been great as a second seat. We have the britax boulevard also. There's not much comparison between the two but the look maxi cosi is still a nice seat.

This is a great convertible car seat! When installing the seat rear facing, you recline it all the way then install it. When the seat is installed forward facing, it can be reclined after installation while the toddler is in the seat. This is great feature for a toddler that has fallen asleep in the car. I believe that this is the only convertible seat with independent recline. This seat is not too large. Although both my husband's car and my car are large enough that they would probably fit a larger seat, this one allows more room for other back seat passengers and will fit in other smaller cars, like an out of town grandmother's car for occasional use. The harness strap holders are helpful in holding the straps out of the way when putting a baby in the seat. EPP foam is a nicer, softer foam than EPS foam. The only thing this car seat doesn't have that would be nice is a headrest with side pillows like some of the Britax seats have. I would still buy this one again over any other due to the independent recline in the forward facing position and it's smaller size.

I think my son feels like a king in this car seat that seems comfortable the way it cradles him to sleep during every car ride.

We had a Graco Snugride before and baby hated it. I almost avoided driving anywhere because she was screaming nonstop. Since we ordered the Maxi Cosi we haven't had any problem. Plus it is chic and sleek. Fits perfectly in my GTI. We still have it rear facing right now but it can be faced to the front later when she is older. I would definitely recommend this!

I have purchased this seat a year ago from Albee Baby and I'm very happy with it. My son loves it, he allways feels comfortable and soon his little sister will be using it as well. I will have to purchase another one though so will have it in both cars. The seat is comfortable since it has a coushin. You can also wash the cloth and it will look just like new. I have also purchased the booster seat from Maxi Cosi ( two of them) and they're excellent. They don't feel bulky, and are very easy to install. I bought this seat for my son when he outgrew his infant seat but still needed a rear-facing seat. Not long after that I bought a second seat for his grandparents' car. Now I am purchasing a 3rd seat for my daughter who is 6m old and quickly outgrowing her infant seat. I tried several "store" brand convertible seats but none of them reclined enough to make sleeping comfortable for him. This seat reclines easily and at 2 1/2 he still rides comfortably.

We own the Maxi-Cosi Mico infant seat and a Quinny Zapp 4 stroller. Maxi-Cosi is the oldest European baby/infant car seat manufacturer and is fairly new to the U.S. market. We loved our Maxi-Cosi Mico so much it was an easy move up. We also own a RECARO Como G2 convertible, which is more expensive, but it is more plush and it's heavier and takes up more room in the vehicle. IMHO Maxi-Cosi copied Recaro's design because they're so similar. I found this easy to custom fit our child in because it's just like the Maxi-Cosi Mico, as well as the RECARO. The instructions were very clear to me. What I like about this is that it's lighter than the RECARO and I Love the color choices! I thought the Britax choice of colors were fugly and I wouldn't put it in my Audi. My only complaint is that you must hand-wash the cover according to the instructions.

We love this car seat. We have had it for over a year and have not had any problems. The car seat is very spacious and is fits nicely in our cars. We have an Accord and a VW CC. We have not had any difficulties in installing the car seat, although getting the straps in the right place takes some work. The harness is very easy to use and we love the fact that we can loosen it with one hand. We also love the four position recline. It is very easy to recline from the front seat. We have used the car seat in the rear and forward facing positions. Overall, it is a great product. We currently own four maxi cosi priori car seats (one for each of our cars and the others for relatives). They have great safety ratings and this website offers the cheapest prices by far!
