Very practical combination set!

Easy to use, functional and perfect size stroller/car seat system. Having a car seat that pops right out of the car and can be placed directly into the stroller makes traveling much easier. I feel very safe with this stroller as the stroller CANNOT accidently fold down. This two system fold down method provides comfort when your little one is sitting inside!

I really wanted to really love this system. It seems to be really secure for baby (although I don't like how the angle that the car seat sits in the base in has her sitting sooo far forward) and it looks really sleek and cute. I also liked the idea of being able to carry baby with the strap. But I wish I would've done more research on it before buying. Guys. This car seat is HEAVY. I have a hard time carrying it for more than a couple minutes. And the insert to carry baby in with the strap is impossible to get out without an extra pair of hands. Like, if I'm alone how am I supposed to use it if I can't get it out by myself! So I end up carrying the whole car seat and it's ridiculously heavy and bulky. I do like that it can click right onto the stroller but omg. The stroller is a whole other ordeal. It was really hard to learn how to open it. Then you have to put on the adapters if using the car seat. If not you have to put the seat on. I found it crazy inconvenient to have to actually take the whole seat part on and off every time we got in and out of the car. Like the seat won't just fold up with the stroller. This makes the whole stroller set up really difficult and time consuming AND it takes up a lot of space. Bottom line is this system is a workout and not convenient to use at all. Otherwise, it's ok and gets the job done. We get a lot of compliments on how it looks. But I definitely would of picked an easier kind of stroller system and a lighter car seat!!!!

Hard to use. The car seat gets really heavy when infant is inside and you're using the whole thing. An adapter is sold separate if you just want to use the carrier that's inside the car seat but that's another thing you have to buy. The stroller is really hard to open and close especially for grandparents. I wish I would of went with the Zelia instead.

Practically Break it Getting Car Seat out!

I first received the travel system and was thrilled and had absolutely no issues but after only 3 months of use I almost have to break the stroller to get the car seat out and back into the car. It takes two people sometimes and brute strength of literally holding down the stroller and pulling up on the car seat until I can yank it out. I feel bad for my baby! Don't know if there is a part that is messed up or what but it is incredibly frustrating and as of now I don't know if I want to keep it anymore if we can't get it fixed!

New Favorite Travel System!

I can't say enough good things about the Maxi Cosi Tayla XP travel system. Firstly, the various modes of carry allow me to carry the infant seat with ease. As a mom of soon-to-be three, this is so helpful! Removing the car seat from its base in the car to the stroller is a breeze, as is attaching the stroller seat. The seat reclines to almost flat, which I like and allows me the option to have baby facing outward or towards me. One thing I really love is the height the handle reaches at its tallest point. I'm tall and there's nothing worse for me than a too-low handle. The basket underneath is large enough for everything I need for three kids and most importantly, it's easy to access! The stroller rolls like a dream and folds in one smooth action. Overall, it's a great system and the best one I've had so far (and I've had a lot!).

I love how versatile this system is. Being able to carry the car seat in 4 different ways is so unique! It also has a super classy design that I love and the car seat is very lightweight. Also love the one handed opening feature for the stroller! My only complain is removing the car seat from the stroller isn't very user friendly.

Love this stroller system ! I've owned multiple strollers and car seats. After three kids you know what you want and what's best. After doing my research, i stumbled upon the Tayla XP and decided to invest in a good stroller system! I'm so glad i did! I love this strollers high quality material. The fabric is so soft for baby and i love that the fabric is reversible and you can use for either cold or hot climate. I also LOVE the car seat inner carrier. That's genius and that's what sold me. I hate carrying heavy car seats around, it's awkward to carry and heavy. This solved all of those problems. The basket is really spacious and fits lots of stuff! I love the leather handle, it's so fancy and beautiful. I love the privacy mesh. Not only helps baby if he's taking a nap in the stroller but also helps with mosquitos if you're out and about. The peekaboo screen is awesome too! This stroller has it ALL. For me, i found everything i wanted in this stroller. Light weight, compact, high quality, modern looking, expensive looking, convenient and easy to carry. I'd recommend this stroller to any mom who's looking for the best stroller out there.

We really loved this product! We recently received our stroller/car seat combo! It was so easy to put together. We were able to easily attach the car seat to the stroller. We did so much research when looking for the perfect stroller/car seat, and thankfully we found the Tayla XP travel system with Coral XP car seat that exceeded all of our expectations

Chic and Convenient Travel System

Bulky infant seats have always been a struggle for me as I am petite and bulky seats tend to be heavy or a awkward to carry. The Tayla XP Travel System's 3-piece nesting system has a game changer: the lightweight innermost piece. I love the handle that can be easily lifted in and out and the crossbody strap. As a mom that's chasing a toddler with a newborn, this has been beyond helpful during our outings. The stroller is also very easy and load and unload and glides with ease! Plus the travel system is very sleek and good looking rather than bulky.

A versatile travel system with high-end touches

My wife and I were lucky enough to receive the Tayla XP Travel System to review. We are expecting our first child in late June and have been looking at many travel systems in the process. Here are our impressions -
Initial assembly was quick and easy. The wheels snap firmly into place and the other attachments fasten securely.
The Coral XP car seat is quite versatile. The base was so simple to install securely in my car. The shoulder strap is unique and very comfortable. The materials are so soft and I love that it comes with a newborn insert. There are adapters to attach the car seat to the stroller, which are easy enough to install. The biggest downside is, with a weight limit of 22lbs, it won't last you quite as long as some other infant car seats out there.
The stroller itself feels relatively light but is definitely durable. The materials feel high quality, and the leather handles definitely make it feel luxe. My wife and I have a considerable height difference, and we found the extending handle to be vastly superior to the swivel handles you see on other strollers. The Tayla rolls smoothly and maneuvering is a breeze, but the shock absorption is a bit lacking, which can be tough on bumpy New England sidewalks. It folds and unfolds with minimal effort, but takes a little practice to get used to. It's also not the most compact storage mode when compared to others on the market.
Overall, this travel system is very nice. It looks and feels very high end, and its ease of use is truly impressive. The Tayla's features are unique and helpful, and the Coral XP's three-stage system is so incredibly versatile. The stretchy shoulder strap is an awesome touch and I can't wait to use it in the near future. There are some negatives such as the lower weight limits of the Coral, and the suspension on the Tayla, but the good here far outweighs the bad. I feel you are getting a great system with many useful features at a fair price.

Awesome travel stroller and car seat!

I was super excited to get this travel system to use with my one, now two, month old. We recently went on a trip and I was thrilled and thankful to have this travel system along for the ride. Overall it's lighter weight than a traditional stroller. Although not as light as a umbrella stroller obviously. But the weight is very manageable and actually feels substantial and safe. It's a breeze to install into cars, which is so important for a travel stroller for us. As a CPST I can attest to the ease and quickness of install and transferability compared to other popular brands. The crossbody strap is pretty cool, it's not something I'd need really in a car seat as I felt it made me walk funny and kind of bumpy for baby. But having both arms free is worth the slight awkwardness. The shade pull down is the coolest feature, not many strollers I've seen have a full panel like this. Great for when walking at dusk and all the bugs are out! The stroller itself is great, it seems like it will last a long time. My four year old, who's pretty small, can actually fit in the seat, and it was easy to push with him in it. After a month, and a few trips on an airplane, things are still working just as well, tires move fairly smooth over a bumpy path. Definitely not like a running stroller, but can easily handle a mild hike on an off-road path. It's very fancy looking too, in my opinion, definitely appears luxury opposed to my running stroller! Highly recommend for parents that travel often, and intend to use a lot while abroad, or anyone wanting a lighter weight, sleek travel system. Works well with a newborn, up to probably three years old, depending on the size of your child of course! I am super thankful to have received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It'll be with us for a while. Especially since it is a car seat and fully functional stroller on its own, not just an attachment for the car seat. Awesome design overall. Beautiful Travel System

I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel. I was so excited to try out this product! We were given the infant car seat, the stroller & the stroller adapter which allowed you to use the inner carrier from the car seat and put it directly into the stroller.
The infant car seat was very sleek looking, and the fabric looked like it was comfy. It is a bit heavier than other infant seats I have used, but the inner portion of the car seat does come out, with an attachable strap- making it into a lightweight carrier. While I didn't personally find this super beneficial, as my infant is 8 months old and we don't keep her in the infant seat unless we are driving- I can see how nice it would be when your baby is brand new. We did test the car seat out with my friends 5 week old as well, and one thing we noted was that the infant headrest looked like it pushed her chin into her neck too much- we ended up taking the infant headrest out, but then her head flopped too much. It was almost like it had too much padding. However, the seat was very easy to use and I like that you can use it with or without a base. We have taken uber with our baby before, so this is important.
We love the stroller! It folds up well, and you can use it with the car seat, the inner carrier, or the regular stroller seat. My baby prefers to use the stroller seat, and I like that it sits fully up right and has a footrest. It also has three settings to recline, and it goes far enough back that she can take a nap in it. It's also sleek looking, and has "leather" accents that make it look high end. One of mine & my husbands favorite parts is that there are two "stop" & "go" buttons- one red, to put the brake on- and one green to take it off. We are used to having just one lever that goes up & down for the parking brake- this is way better! However, It is not quite as smooth of a ride as other strollers.

I received the Tayla XP Travel System through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
My first impression of the Tayla System was how sleek and gorgeous it is! It really boasts the same energy as other high-end name-brand strollers that cost $1,000 (not including the car seat!).
The Tayla XP System is actually the 3rd travel system I've tried since having my 7-month-old daughter. The first very popular name brand system we got ended up feeling rough and flimsy while using so we ended up replacing it after only 2 months of use. With that said, at this point, I feel pretty well versed when it comes to stroller and car seats. The Tayla is an EXTREMELY smooth-riding stroller. I live near a lake with trails that aren't ideal for strollers and the Tayla did wonderfully on it. It feels quite sturdy and that it could definitely last for years of use.
Now on to the Coral infant car seat! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was to try this. The luxury brand infant car seat we currently have is SO heavy, bulky, and awkward to carry around and I actually avoid carrying it as much as I can. I am a very small person so the crossbody carry option was a HUGE deal for me and it did not disappoint. While it was still on the heavier side, I did find it much less awkward to carry than a traditional car seat, and the fact that I had two free hands at my disposal while carrying it was a real game-changer! The car seat installation for both the car and the stroller frame is a cinch.
My daughter fell asleep within 15 minutes of use when we first had her ride in the car seat in the stroller so it is apparent that she was very comfortable! The fabric feels buttery soft and it is non-toxic which makes me EXTRA happy!
Overall I am really happy with this travel system and actually just recommended it to my friend who is pregnant.

Innovative and Luxurious

This is a very nice travel system. It has so many great features with a sturdy construction. The stroller was easy to assemble and folding/unfolding it is a breeze. The leather feature on the handle was a nice touch and gave it a luxurious feel. The carseat itself was easy to install. My favorite part of the carseat is the removable inner carrier. It has been useful carrying my baby with the shoulder strap while trying to wrangle my two toddlers. The fabric on the carseat feels so soft and plush; keeping my baby nice and comfortable. I really appreciate that the fabric is made from treatment-free materials also. So I have the peace of mind that my baby isn't exposed to harmful chemicals. Some negatives for me was the overall weight of the carseat without my baby in it. It seemed quite heavy and big, as if I was carrying the carseat and base together. The canopy on the carseat could come down a little more. I had to use a blanket to shield the sunlight shining on my baby's face. Another negative for me was how very bumpy it felt while pushing my baby on the stroller. We mostly walked on sidewalks and streets but it felt like I was pushing my baby on cobblestone. I received the Tayla XP Travel System through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was immediately obsessed! I have a 1 month old and 2.5 year old, and this system fits our busy, on-the-go lifestyle. The stroller is super light weight and easy to maneuver, and the car seat easily clicks in to both the base in the car and stroller. The system also comes with all adapters/extenders to concert the stroller to carry the car seat and the larger toddler seat, which isn't the case with the other popular travel system I have (you have to buy the adapters separately for an additional cost -- the Tayla system also comes with a cupholder, too!) Seat cushion is machine washable, which is also great. Overall, I would recommend this travel system over other travel systems currently on the market.

Excellent Travel System!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system. Overall, the Tayla XP is an excellent travel system and I would highly recommend it. The stroller was simple to assemble, the ride is really smooth and I like the sleek attractive design. I appreciated that the adapters as well as the cup holder came with the travel system. Being able to close/open the stroller with one hand was also a huge plus, but it does taking some getting used to. The netting in the front to extend the coverage is a great concept, but to zip it back up after was extremely difficult. I think another means of closure would be better. As for the Coral XP car seat, I LOVE it. I've received SO many compliments and questions about the inner car seat as I've used this the most in transporting my 4mo. I'll start with the base, as I think this is reason alone to buy this car seat. It is SO simple to use. Retractable latches, genius, and the simple indicators to show it's properly level is incredible. I wish I had this for my first child! The Inner carrier was a unique concept and I have really loved using it. The biggest downfall I felt with the Coral XP is the outer base, it is long. We had the carseat behind the drivers side, for a tall person (my husband) he could not comfortably sit with the carseat behind him. The instructions also state to have the seat arm to be at a particular position but found those 2 positions blocked my view of my child's face (when behind the driver side). These few items do not outweigh the positives of this travel system. We decided to take this on a flight to test out, we had my 2yo in the stroller and my 4mo in the carseat. I understand the arm strap is meant for just the inner seat, but we used it with the entire seat. It was a bit heavy, but feasible to carry through the airport. I LOVED that you could use the car seat without the base! Not having to take an additional item during travel is a huge plus! Overall, I'm very pleased

So happy I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Using this travel system for our third baby, I've had the opportunity to use many other strollers in the past and this had been my favorite by far!
The set up and car seat installation was so simple. The stroller itself glides beautifully whether on grass or even brick sidewalks and the adjustable height is great for myself and my husband even with our 10" height difference. The basket underneath is so spacious, I'm able to carry everything needed for two toddlers, the baby and myself.
I love how easy it is to remove the inner carrier of the car seat! There's so much I love about this travel system but my favorite feature is the cross body carry, it makes lugging a car seat around so much easier. Car seats are known to be such a pain to carry but this feature makes it to easy to carry around! I've already recommended this travel system to two friends who are pregnant because we've been so happy with it.

Super comfortable, great push, convenient

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I really love this stroller and plan on using it instead of my old brand name stroller. This stroller is good at everything. It has an amazingly cushioned seat and appears very comfortable. My DS rode in it for awhile and refused to come out!! I also love how the seat fabric is reversible for different seasons. The push is also great. It is smooth and feels like I'm gliding.
The car seat transferability feature itself is pretty convenient - I love being able to put my kid in one seat and move seamlessly from car to store to walk and back to car without waking my DS. In contrast to some other famous strollers that have the same capability, this product was superior in every way.
In addition, the car seat pull out was pretty unique. I liked that I could just take baby out without needing to take out the stroller - very convenient for quick stops, like the cleaners and pickups. I particularly liked the shoulder strap, though found it slightly on the shorter side for my SO (~6ft and broad). But while I love the feature, I'm still figuring out how often I'm actually going to use it. For travel I'll need the whole car seat either way for taxis. For home its not a big a deal to put the car seat in the stroller. The way I see it, the purpose of the pull out is for short trips out of the vehicle. I see the benefit, just not sure how often that affects me personally. I do admit that it is more comfortable to wheel the stroller with just the insert than with the entire car seat. I would highly recommend the Coral adapter for the Tayla!
That said, I 100% recommend this product if your looking for a luxurious stroller with an easy push that is lighter than competitors and much more versatile. My only real issue was with the Coral adapter - when connected properly, it appeared a little shaky.
One last point - since this is intended to be a full travel system, I would consider including a bassinet.

I received the Tayla XP Travel System with Coral XP Infant Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the idea of this car seat. I was stopped several times and asked about it. Others loved the idea too! An alternative to carrying a bucket seat handle that won't make your arms feel like they're going to fall off and hands free to carry baby items and maybe even hold your coffee, what an idea! I wanted to LOVE the carrying strap. While it's convenient, it isn't comfortable. I was able to carry my baby with the carrying strap while shopping. I was barely making it towards the end. The inner bucket seat is light weight and my 3 month old is a small baby around 12 lbs, but the positioning for the carrying strap has to be just right not to put pressure on my neck or shoulder. My husband found it somewhat more comfortable than I did, but definitely could feel it too, so maybe it's just personal preference.
The carrying strap is removable and the discomfort doesn't outweigh the convenience, plus, it's great for rocking or gently bouncing a tired baby while walking around! My babe is extremely comfortable in the Coral XP. She cried every time she was buckled into her old, popular brand car seat. The Coral XP seems nicely hug my baby in the removable newborn padding and calms her. She did two 6 hour round-trip road trips this past month and mostly slept through both. In her old seat, she cried almost every 15 minute car ride.
As for the Tayla XP, it's good as far as strollers. The manual says the baby needs to be able to sit up unassisted to be in the seat, so my 3 month old unable to test the stroller seat. We're looking forward to using as she grows for my favorite feature of the stroller: the built in bug netting that zips out of canopy! Stellar sent two additional adapters, one compatible with the Coral XP car seat bucket seat and one for the insert. The insert adapter was rather large and an additional piece to try to make room for in the trunk.

If you're looking for a stroller/car seat system with endless configurations, 5lb car seat and ultra-compact stroller, then the Tayla XP Travel System is a MUST OWN. First impressions - Luxurious and high quality were my first words to describe this complete stroller and car seat system. The rich deep black color has a semi-matte style finish that blends perfectly between the metal and plastic components. Fast, easy and stress free to fold and unfold the stroller using one hand. Such a compact stroller with maximum features - 360 degree shade, peekaboo window, 4 way seat recline, 2 ways for the baby to see the world and the cup holder for mom and dad's caffeine! The stroller rolls smoothly, and feels feather light to push. Any vibrations the baby felt brought a smile to her face as she was wrapped in the plush and generously padded seat that perfectly contoured to her body. She really enjoyed our walk, and was smiley and happy sitting in the comfortable Coral XP seat - which means I'm more confident and eager to be out with my infants in public.
The 360 degree shade is perfect for those strolls along the river to block out the sun and bugs; this feature was probably my favorite giving the baby privacy as well protection from as the elements. The mesh peekaboo window is another super smart addition that allows us to quickly check on the baby while they face forward. This stroller was designed for the ones always on the go; and the smart features keep you moving forward. Living in Boston the reversable seat cushion is ideal for the ever changing warm and cool weather days. My only wish is this product doesn't have the ability to carry multiple car seats. We are parents of 2 month old twins and prefer one stroller versus having two use two separate strollers for each baby.

The most versatile and convenient travel system

I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it came at the perfect time. Our baby started daycare and we were tired of having to pull out the entire car seat to get him inside.
I like that you can remove the interior soft carrier which makes it so much lighter, but we did find it a bit difficult to detach the interior carrier from the outer shell. If you get the angle right then it's easy, but I also feel like it's been getting easier the more I use it. The strap to carry is innovative and worked well, but we used the handles or the stroller more than the strap. Getting the baby situated, strapping him in and adjusting the straps was an easy process, but one addition I'd like to see is something built in to keep the straps out of the way while you put the baby in. The seat is pretty deep so the straps fall in easily while you're trying to get the baby in there. Another area I found lacking is the canopy for the car seat (and adapter) - it would be nice if it could extend because it is very short and doesn't provide much coverage.
We make use of the stroller a lot, and being able to take the inner carrier and putting it on the stroller (with the adapter) was amazing and much more convenient than taking out the entire car seat. The stroller is smooth, and easy to maneuver. It's easy to fold up and store when not in use. I loved that the baby was high up so it was easy to interact with him and gave him a good viewpoint. Baby enjoyed the ride and was always comfortable enough to fall asleep on our walks. I would like to see is that the adapter for the inner carrier to the stroller be included as part of the travel system.
I highly recommend this travel system for its versatility. I love that you can take out the interior carrier which makes it so much lighter to carry around. I love how light the interior carrier is. Overall a very positive experience and we're very happy with it!

I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall I think the travel system is incredible and includes many features that are useful. Getting started was a little difficult because there were ALOT more parts than I expected. It became a little overwhelming, especially because I'm a first time mom and this is my first travel system encounter. After my husband and I figured out what the main components were and how they functioned it became much more enjoyable to put together!
Pros:
High quality materials throughout the whole system
There are multiple carrying options (I personally love the shoulder strap idea)
Storage basket & cup holder are very useful accessories
I love that the system converts from baby seat to stroller mode. It's rated for up to 50lbs!
My absolute favorite feature is the inner carrier option. I'm petite and was so worried about carrying the car seat everywhere. This inner carrier is very light weight & with the shoulder strap option, I will have no issues at all going places!
Cons:
Initial set up was overwhelming
A lot of parts to put together with minimal instruction
The open/close feature on the stroller takes some getting used to
The many release buttons will take a minute to become familiar with
The whole system itself seems heavy (minus the inner carrier).
In the end, I'm personally very happy with this system. I would consider it the Cadillac of systems and recommend it to parents looking for all the bells and whistles. But if you're someone who is looking for more simplicity, I would recommend looking at different models.

I love the Tayla XP Travel System with Coral XP Infant Car Seat, that I receive through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!
It was very easy to install and it was fun to use. My first impression of this stroller was it was very soft and great for long rides. My little one really enjoy the ride it was smooth ride, and quiet when pushing the stroller. I think it's a great travel stroller. I love the handle bar and the feel to it when pushing the stroller. My favorite feature of the travel system is how easy it is to close and open the stroller. I loved infant car seat and the removable inner carrier component. My favorite way to carry the car seat is on my arm, it is so lightweight and easy to carry. The car seat is great for the long drives I take. The infant car seat is, super lightweight, it is a removable seat you can take the baby out of the car without taking out the rest of the seat!

I received the Tayla XP Travel System a few weeks ago, and I am beyond ecstatic. I don't think I could have received a more perfect travel bundle, for both me and my 9 month old, sweet girl.
Once it arrived, I was too excited to wait for my husband to get home, so I decided to take it out of the box myself for assembly. I was so proud to have it done independently, quickly, and easily, which is why it's great for any mom out there. Everything about it just feels upscale and luxurious. I truly feel as if I could call it the "Mercedes Benz of Travel Systems". It rolls smoothly, has the softest cushions, folds up quickly and efficiently, maneuvers sharp turns well, and locks perfectly and securely in my car. It's incredible and perfect for those frequently on the go, and the large shades keep my baby free of any weather element or insect we are faced with (which is a HUGE win in Central Florida). Plus, the look of it is just beautiful. It's mainly black, which appears sleek, and has beautiful brown leather handles. There are tiny pieces of turquoise on the sides of the car seat, but it's barely noticeable.
As far as functionality, I don't think Maxi Cosa could've improved it anymore! The fact that it faces both forward and backward, attaches to the infant seat, and easily pops open and closed with one hand, is fantastic! I love that the leather bar is able to detach from both sides, making it easy to load and unload my baby. Plus, as stated before, it rolls as smooth as butter. It's just a breeze. Now that I have gotten ahold of one of these, I don't think I could ever go back to any other brand. I just cannot recommend it enough to others. I have already told all of my fellow mom friends, and humbly bragged in our group text (haha). If you get the chance, this is a MUST buy. I give it a complete 10/10.
P.S... who knew a woman could get so excited over a stroller?!

Good stroller, unnecessary carseat

My daughter is 5.5 months old. She is almost 18 lbs and 26 inches. The stroller was very easy to use. However, for the price point of the travel system, it was expensive for what you got.
The main draw to the car seat is that you can take the inner lining of the car seat out of the frame. However, you must press in these two tabs on the outside of the frame and pull up on the liner at the same time. I tried multiple times to do it by myself, but there was no way. It always required the help of my husband. One of us would need to push the tabs in while the other person pulled on the liner. If you were alone there would be no way you could do it on your own, which i find pointless because a majority of the time you are by yourself as a parent. Also, I found it unnecessary to need to take the liner out of the car seat. Like mentioned above it's already so hard to take out alone, and you definitely wouldn't be able to take it out with a baby in it. The strap that you use to wear the liner is very heavy and bulky. It clicks in at the top and bottom of the liner. It is not easy to install when the liner is in the hard part of the carseat.
The stroller alone is nice. The canopy has a wide range, and the little privacy/bug screen is nice. However, if our daughter got much longer her feet would for sure stick out from under the privacy screen. My daughter isn't the most stable sitter yet, but at the most upright position in the stroller she was very secured and stable in the stroller seat. Unlike a lot of other strollers that we tried, she was able to reach the handle bar on the stroller and loved being able to grab it. You can store about 2 reusable grocery bags under in the basket. Also, I loved that you could adjust the height of the pushing handle bar with just one hand with a little click of the button there. As a complete travel system it's not my fav, but I would purchase the stroller on its own. I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

CAR SEAT
This car seat is truly unique in the way that it is designed and my FAVORITE feature is being able to carry baby in the lightweight inner carrier. I have a 3.5 year old and doing preschool drop-off/pickup is cumbersome with the baby in tow. Being able to just pop out the carrier and not be weighed down by the whole car seat is a game changer. The handles on the seat are super convenient and the cross body strap frees your hands. The base was straight forward to install securely. The fabrics are soft my baby seems really comfortable.
STROLLER
I have quite a bit of experience with strollers, I've owned/borrowed/tried about a dozen and the Tayla has been awesome! It's not obnoxiously big but has all the benefits of a full size stroller. The frame isn't too heavy so it's easy to get in/out of the car. Love that you can easily switch the seat between parent facing and outward facing. The basket is easy to access and big enough for a large diaper bag plus odds and ends. My FAVORITE feature of the stroller is the 360 canopy to keep baby entirely out of the sun! The telescoping handle bar is great at accommodating a range of tall and shorter parents. This stroller has a smooth push and has done well on grass. I also put my taller than average 3.5 year old in the stroller and she rode in it comfortably.
TRAVEL SYSTEM
My one complaint is that you need a second set of adapters (included with the system) to put the car seat on the stroller instead of the seat. I use the car seat and stroller seat pretty interchangeably at this stage and having to keep track of a set of adapters is a slight inconvenience but not a deal breaker. I love that this modular travel system is easy to use, has lots of options for configurations and has tons of unique features! An innovative travel system that has it all!

You can stop shopping now - The Tayla XP Travel System has everything you need and a few things you didn't know you needed! I'll start with the car seat. This was the 5th or 6th car seat install my husband has done and he said it was by far the easiest. He moved it between our SUV and RV in minutes! The base has a stability leg which I like because when it comes to safety every bit counts. The Coral XP car seat is really the the star of this travel system for me. Most car seats are pretty heavy and after putting baby inside, toting it around gets delegated to my husband. The inner carrier of the Coral XP comes out easily with one hand and can be carried using either the padded shoulder strap or the side handles. It weighs only 5 pounds and carrying baby cross body with the strap feels effortless. My baby loves being carried this way and lots of people ask me where I got the carrier. For times when you want to use the stroller, the entire car seat fits on the stroller or there is a separate Inner Carrier Adapter that allows you to clip in just the inner carrier. I LOVE this option as it keeps everything so easy and lightweight! (Seriously, get the adapter!) The stroller seat that comes with this system is luxurious! The seat liner has different sides for use in hot/cold climates. This feature is perfect for us since we have houses in Canada and the southern US, but my favorite feature on the stroller is the privacy screen. It is zipped nicely into the lip of the canopy and pops out in seconds. Because it is is built in, I can't forget to pack it! The privacy is nice, but I honestly use it more as a bug screen. If there's anything I would change at all about this travel system it's that I wish the canopies on the infant car seat and adapter also had screens. The travel system also includes a rain cover and a cup holder so it really does have everything you need! When I received this from the Stellar Products Review Panel, I was THRILLED. Schlepping an infant car seat (even the lightest ones!) is so TOUGH on your body, especially as your baby gets bigger. Once they're no longer a newborn, it feels like carrying a ton of bricks, and I found myself taking my LO out of the seat every time.
I had looked at this car seat, but didn't necessarily NEED to replace my infant car seat for my new baby, but had I trusted my gut I would have made the switch sooner.
As with any new gear, getting the hang of taking the liner in and out, takes a little getting used to, but once I got it, I found it so simple. I was truly the envy of the pediatricians office with the car seat insert, everyone remembers the hassle of carrying a clunky infant car seat with a chunky baby inside!
The stroller is also great, and felt even sturdier than one I owned in the past. I did not find it difficult to fold or get the car seat in and out of. I always recommend buying a travel system vs. a car seat and adapter, so I was happy to find this system worked so well. I loved the different seat recline options, and was happy it goes so far back, so even a small sleeping baby will be comfy in here.
The last thing I loved (although there are MANY more): the latch system for the car seat installation! The tightness indicator is such a relief, I have never felt better about installing my car seat base.
I highly recommend this travel system, and my experience with Maxi Cosi has always been positive. I find their strollers and car seats have the right balance of comfort/safety/features with durability you'll feel great about. This travel
System is a great way to go for any new (or veteran!) parents.

Luxurious but Frustrating

When I first received this stroller system thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was beyond thrilled. It is clearly a very well made stroller system, and in fact, I had seen articles about the inner Coral XP carrier from some pregnancy/mom newsletters I subscribe too, so I was really pleased to have gotten the chance to try out this revolutionary new product. Starting from the beginning, I already have a car seat stroller that I love and am in fact quite obsessed with, but when I saw the Tayla XP system with all of the parts and proposed functionalities, the luxuriousness of this Maxi Cosi product became quite clear, while my old stroller seemed dinky and pathetic in comparison. General observations: the Tayla stroller with the Coral car seat installed on it is a lot taller than my old stroller which means my 6 month old can be a lot closer to me when we're strolling around the neighborhood, which I think she really enjoyed, especially whenever I was eating a snack or sipping my iced coffee. The stroller has a VERY smooth ride, going over bumps or doorways well, and I absolutely LOVE that it comes with the stroller seat as well for when she is older and outgrows the car seat. This is the great benefit of a stroller system. You can use the stroller seat both front and rear facing which is excellent having the front facing option, a feature my current stroller doesn't have. The fabrics and materials used on all of the items in the system are of the highest quality which really makes you feel like you should be doing a catwalk, not merely a walk around the block. This brings me further into the Pros: in addition to the stroller seat attachment being included, the smooth ride of the wheels, and high quality materials, the car seat is multifunctional, which is the main selling point for the Coral XP. A must have travel system

I was given this Maxi Cosi Tayla XP travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall I really love it and it has become my new favorite stroller. There are so many things I absolutely love about the Tayla XP travel system. A few are the smooth ride, ease going over bumps and uneven surfaces, the look (I mean it's gorgeous!) plus all the small details they've put in to provide the utmost comfort to the little babes. From the Coral car seat that is super padded, even without the inserts, to the stroller seat with reversible padding for warm/cold weather and sun shade. Plus all the mama perks too like cup holder, big storage basket, adjustable handle length, easy click in and out for changing from car seat to stroller seat, and so much more. The only things I struggled with were opening and closing the stroller. It wasn't as easy of a process for me and definitely took lots of practice. I also didn't love how many different pieces there are, I'm worried I'm going to lose some. I wish there was a pocket or storage box to keep them stored away within the stroller itself. Overall I highly recommend this travel system, it makes it seamless from the car to stroller or even just car to errands with the removable inner carrier.

My little one was having a really difficult time in her old car seat and stroller. Traveling with our bulky stroller used to be a pain. Once we tried the Tayla XP Travel System with Coral XP Infant Car Seat- success!!! The removable inner carrier is such a sweet feature. You can carry your baby safely with comfortable purse-like handles without the extra weight of the bulk of a typical car seat. This has done wonders on my back! The stroller itself is very easy to assemble and is wonderfully compact for lightweight travel. We are definitely more motivated and so excited to go on more trips with our little one thanks to this stroller! We are so grateful to be a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel !

Innovative, Well-Built, Stylish, and Functional

After the last couple of weeks, the Tayla XP Travel System continues to impress me. Out of the box, assembly was easy and I had everything put together in just a few minutes. Of course, the car seat first caught my interest. Finally, a company is thinking outside the box on what an infant car seat should be. The ability to remove the infant insert from the plastic shell is something I never knew I wanted. Thanks Maxi-Cosi! After having carried plenty of car seats, it was a pleasure to only have to remove the 5 lb insert when carrying my little one. Good bye shoulder aggravation. Installation of the base into my small SUV was a breeze. The instructional labels on the car seat base were good enough that I didn't have to open the manual. Thanks again.
As much as I like the car seat, the stroller is where this travel system really shines. I used this stroller primarily for my 2-year old daughter. Over the course of the last couple of weeks we've accrued about 30 miles on it. It's such a joy to push and maneuver, but what really surprised me was the suspension, or really, how well it handled bumps. Testing it out inside the house I thought there'd be no way something this lightweight would do well on our cracked sidewalks. I was wrong. This thing handles rough sidewalks like a champ. Just cruises over them, all without feeling like it's going to fall apart. Besides for dedicated jogging strollers, this is hands down, the best pushing, most solid and well built stroller I've used, and I've used a lot. Seriously, after pushing plenty of strollers thinking that the next sidewalk crack was going to be their demise, it was such a relief that this one was so rock solid.
Aside from the ride and build quality, the stroller also features a large enough storage basket for my gigantic diaper bag, a toe-friendly brake that pushes down to release and engage, a legitimate one-hand seat adjustment (i.e. it's not just marketing-speak) and an all encompassing privacy sh

Three great products in one!

When you have a winter baby, the infant seat is key for getting baby from house to car without exposing him to the elements. But quickly baby gets too heavy to carry in the car seat.
This is where my love for the travel system was cemented. The inside of the car seat pops out and you can carry baby, all ready to go without the extra weight! This was especially useful when running quick errands. Picking up take out or dropping off library books would take twice as long if I had to take baby out of his seat, put him in a wrap, go inside then take him out of the wrap and put him back in his seat. But with this system the carrier is part of the car seat! Pop baby out, attach the carry strap, and go! No messing with buckling and unbuckling.
Of course If you are going somewhere a little further you can pop the whole car seat on the stroller. However, my four month old prefers to sit in the stroller seat if we are going for a longer walk.
One of my favorite features of this stroller is that both my infant and my big guy can ride in it without adjusting more than the straps. Though I do love to turn the seat around because baby likes looking at me and big guy likes to see the world. Baby is comfortable sleeping almost fully reclined in the stroller seat, but big guy loves how upright it can get. I love that I can take this one stroller without the bulk of a double. I can carry baby in the carrier and big guy can ride, but when he wants to get out and stretch his legs I can show the carrier in the oversized underbasket and put baby in the seat.
The stroller is smooth rolling The details give a luxury quality. It is beautiful. It also folds down to be stowed away easily.
This is an amazing system and I would have expected the stroller alone to cost what the whole system is sold for, that's almost like you get a car seat and carrier for free!

Thanks to The Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this travel system. Coming in, we're a family of 7 (so far!). Our experience with the Maxi Cosi Tayla XP travel system and Coral XP started with our littlest at 1 month of age.
The stroller base is solid. It's weight is only noticed when loading and unloading into the car and it's still minimal. Once on the ground it glides. The brake is solid as well. As a 6' man, I really appreciated the extension length of the handle. When walking full stride, my toes do not impact the base of the stroller. The lower basket is spacious. Easy to access from front or rear. The leather handle looks very sleek. Jumping to the toddler/stroller seat. I was happy with the buckle ease. I didn't have to fight with it, fearing to catch a piece of a child in it. The recline feature is perfect. Works well for nap time and sits up for snack time. Most notable on the stroller seat, was the full privacy shade. Not only do I get a solid shade for the usual 180 degrees, but there is an additional shade cover that unzips for full 360 degree coverage. It was the removal of the stroller seat that impressed me. The quick release points only require a momentary depression of the button, to put them into a release position. Then the seat can be removed with one hand.
The car seat base is solid and pretty straight forward. We mounted it with latch system, and had no difficulties. The leveling feature is simple to see and use.
Lastly, the Coral XP infant carrier is perfect. First, 5 lbs is no joke. With my daughter in it, it weighs less than my wife's purse. I would see no reason to pull the whole car seat ever. I used the inner carrier with the shoulder strap, but for me the dual handles are a better balance. Felt like carrying a bag of groceries! The inner carrier locks secure into the stroller as well as the car seat. This carrier just fits. I really haven't run into a serious con with this setup. Maxi Cosi got it right!

Great travel system!

I love the Tayla XP Travel System with Coral XP Infant Car Seat! We have used it to walk to the park, go to the grocery store and to doctor's appointments. This travel system is very versatile and so far it has served us very well for a range of different outings.
My little one is just about to turn 6 months old, so we have been using the the stroller with the coral xp infant car seat. We haven't yet put our baby in tayla stroller seat yet. As of now, this is our favorite configuration. It's easy for baby to sleep while on the go in her car seat. I simply attach and detach the car seat to the tayla frame using the adapters without waking baby.
The tayla stroller looks posh, but it felt awkward opening and I actually struggled the first couple of times. The frame isn't too heavy, and I was able to take it in and out of my full size SUV's trunk easily.
I love the coral xp infant car seat. It's very heavy and substantial and was easy to attach to the base using the latch system. I didn't love the inner carrier component. It's bulky, and I had a hard time managing my baby in the carrier and wrangling my 3 year old son. I did like that it's easy to detach the inner carrier from the car seat with a push of a button, but I don't think I'll use the inner carrier often. Instead, I'll just leave my baby in the car seat and attach the car seat to the tayla frame. I couldn't find a way to carry the inner carrier that was comfortable.
My baby LOVED riding her her coral xp car seat and tayla stroller. She always fell right asleep during her rides. I felt like the ride wasn't very smooth, however. The material in the car seat is soft, and I appreciate that maxi cosi doesn't use harsh chemicals in their fabrics.
My favorite features of the tayla xp travel system is how posh it looks as well as how easy it is to use the coral xp infant car seat with the tayla stroller.

Luxury travel system

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a beautiful, functional, well designed travel system that is worth the price tag.
I'll start with the stroller: it's sleek, compact but still spacious, handles beautifully, and comes with many bells and whistles that are sold separately by other stroller brands (ex: cup holder, sunshade, rain cover). Our little guy is still young (4 months) so I like that I'm able to have him seated facing us for now, but that eventually I'll be able to orient the seat facing out. I loved the sunshade being zippered into the canopy- no risk of misplacing or forgetting it. I love how compactly it folds up and that I can unfold it with one hand (key when you're juggling a baby!). The design elements are very luxe and rival strollers that cost hundreds more. I haven't had to clean any part of it yet, but the materials all seem like they would be very easy to clean. The only two aspects I'd change is the amount of sun the shade blocked (it still lets in a considerable amount of light) and the somewhat shallow sides on the undercarriage basket.
The car seat: the seat itself is very good, it ticks all the safety boxes, was no more challenging to install than any other seat, and my little one seemed very comfortable in it. The lift out carrier is a very interesting concept; I like how lightweight it is and that it's not bulky. However, I think I still need a little more practice with it before I feel completely comfortable carrying my little one in it for any extended period. This is possibly due to the fact that I'm very petite. The fabric strap took a bit of getting used to, but did make it possible to hold the seat closer to my body. The great thing about purchasing a stroller and car seat together as a system is that you're able to seamlessly transfer the baby from the car to the stroller without getting him out of his seat (especially great if he's sleeping!).
Overall, this is a great travel system!
