Naturepedic Organic Cotton Waterproof Flat Oval Bassinet Pad - Natural

I bought this for my 3 year olds crib mattress/toddler bed. The first pee accident she had soaked through into the mattress and now the mattress smells like pee. Maybe works for a slightly leaky diaper on an infant? Definitely not "waterproof".

Great mattress protector! First snugly around the mattress, doesn't move, and doesn't crinkle. We were using the Stokke protector sheet and got tired of having to air dry it, not to mention it never fully covered the mattress to begin with.

Works great keeps wetness out.

I had their older design of these protector pads for many years. We loved them for those seasons when accidents happen, because it stayed in place, didn't let liquids seep through, and was easy to throw in the washer and dryer. All the while being a comfortable organic cotton surface to sleep on. The old design would shift and wrinkle some during nighttime, but because of it's thickness and texture, never moved too much. The newer design is larger, which is convenient, but much thinner, and doesn't stay in place well, but wrinkles and scrunches up easily. We've not had any major leaks yet to compare, but it still seems to do the job of preventing leaks, thus saving us the washing of sheets, but I don't plan to purchase a second of these, since it just doesn't stay in place so well.

(To be clear, this was designed to go underneath the fitted sheet, for which purpose I think it would be fine, but we use it as a washable puddle pad. )

Overall it's still a helpful product, but ends up being more cumbersome for our purpose, with a lot of fixing overnight. For the price, which seems really high to begin with, I'm not really satisfied, but it will work well enough for what we need. It's still very comfortable, has no chemical smells, easy to wash and dry, and prevents leak-through when there are accidents.

I have both the fitted sheet and flat version on the crib and I love them both. Very light, so soft and unlike any of the 'plastics' feeling mattress protector pads. I use both of them together, fitted sheet pad first with a crib sheet as the first layer then the flat pad with a crib sheet as the second layer on top. This system made changing sheets so much easier at night and during naps when messes happen. I just pull one layer (sheet and pad) and put the baby on the second layer right away without much interruption. Highly recommend.

No accidents yet but it fits snuggly and isn't noisy. Seems great.

So far so good at 3 months in. Unfortunately I see the more you wash the less waterproof it may become which is hard when you have babies and sometimes have a couple days or weeks of peeing through. But so far so good

I'm using this as a water barrier in the bassinet, the crib, and on our bed mattress for side lying nursing. It has worked well to keep spit up, leaking breast milk and diaper leaks contained. It also washes well. I now have three in circulation during this newborn time. I'd recommend it to those looking for a clean alternative to vinyl

I purchased this protector to go shopping with the Naturepedic crib mattress. It fits perfectly. It also worked perfectly for keeping a diaper leak contained at nighttime. I would highly recommend it to others as a mattress protector.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Waterproof and very well made, nice non stinky or crinkly materials. Quiet and seems like it'll last forever. We bought two because we layer protector - sheet - protector - sheet so we can just pull off a layer at night if there's a diaper leak.
