Okay seat
December 20, 2016
This seat is NOT good for children smaller than about 9 months clothing. Before then the child's shoulders would be below the bottom harness slot, which is not safe for rear facing. Every child should be rea faced for a minimum of 2 years, ideally 4, so even with the later usage, you can still get a lot of life out of this seat.
I bought it for my 2 year old when his Radian XT was close to expiry, and while it is a pain to learn to install properly, speaking with a CPST (check out the safe kids website) and following Car Seats For The Little's Guide to the Guide gave me a great install. My son just surpassed 3 years in this seat, still rearfacing with plenty of room to make it to 4.
It claims it can fit 3 across. This rings true for the second row of my tahoe, but not the third row.
It is fairly comfortable, light weight, and a budget friendly instore option.
In the images, children who aren't mine have stickers on their faces, but the other 3 are mine. 8 year old in a no back booster, 6 year old in a high back booster, 3 year old in the Guide65 Sport rear facing.
