I got this as a gift on my registry and after I used it I was very disappointed. The volume controls are not working! Volume can only be decreased and cannot be increased. I have read many reviews on poor volume. I think there was a defective batch of the machine that has this volume control issue. I want a refund!!! Worse white noise machine. Do not buy please.

Bought this because we were doing a cross country drive trip with our 4 year old and 5 month old. Every night we stayed in a new state in a hotel and our kids sleep schedule obviously went out the window. This helped them get to sleep so much quicker. I used to play white noise on my phone for the baby but this is so much more convenient especially with the night light. Love it so much! We use it every night now.

Wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Like everyone else, the volume is way too low.

We received this as a gift. My sister in law has the same one from years ago (it's the reason we registered for it) but compared to hers, the sound is SO quiet. Not sure if it's just ours? Or if the quality is different now. But we are super disappointed.

We've used this for our twin boys since they were newborns. They're now 2.5, and we use it for naps and the first hour of their sleep at night. Works great!

I got this via my baby shower 3+ years ago and recently bought another one for our second child. My son loves this thing, as the title says it lasts for years, we have used it nightly and for naps for 3 years. My son is a toddler now and loves his "owl" , which is pretty durable for handling (unplugged) by a toddler and is now covered in stickers.

We purchased this sound machine when my 2 year old was born, it still works great ! We bought a second one for traveling and grandparents house and the volume doesn't work as well. It is not loud at all ! Very frustrating.

I have used this for just under 6 months and it completely stopped working. Turns itself off in the middle of the night and my baby wakes up. I'm super disappointed as Skiphop products are usually much better than that.

This is the 2nd one I bought since i'm happy with the first for my first child. The new one's volume barely increases. Not loud at all. I'm so disappointed:(

I received this as a gift and when setting up the nursery I plugged it in and it didn't work. At that point I had already discarded the box and can't not return it. Disappointed that it didn't work as it did come recommended from a few friends.

Bought this product a few years ago and has been a constant feature in my daughters room ever since. Simple to use, easy to set up, and does exactly what it says it will.

We recently bought this sound machine. We have a 1 year old and a five year old- they both love it. The stars look so beautiful and the sound is nice and clear! We definitely recommend this product!

Super cute, baby likes it. However, this product could've been better: the light is too blue for night usage (goes against circadian rhythm of your child) and when the timer stops it too abrupt. It would've been better if light was a warmer color temperature, and the the light and sound would progressively dim before stopping. Also, the lowest sound level is quite loud.

We got the sounds machine 3 months ago and the first time I turned it on it made a really weird noise.. fast forward 2 weeks it starts making a weird rattling noise slightly and it has gotten progressively worse over the last week and im terrified its going to break because my daughter has slept with it since she was born... and now I dont know what to do! Order another one or get a different brand?

Bought this for my first grandchildren they are twins!!! Its small so it fits between their cribs on their baby dresser. The light and music are perfect, day or night! I love it and so does my dsughter!!!!

The nightlight has multiple settings and is a soft pleasant glow. Overall 100% recommend, especially since it plugs in! I plan to get one for myself ha when the baby moves into his own room.

I bought this this my second child - born in a few months. I heard it was great for light and sounds to soothe them asleep. Well, my 3 year old wanted to see it in action. The sound actually helps her and she likes looking at the stars. So I might need to buy a new one for its original purpose.

But it looks extremely cute, sounds are loud (as they should be apparently), quality seems good and colors are very neutral making it blend in / transferable to future babies

I was just speaking with my wife telling her I had to look up the site that makes this thing. My daughter is now almost 4 and a half. She has been using this owl every night since she was 6 months old. She won't go to sleep without it. We've put close to 15,000 hours of use into this thing and it still works like a champ. Great product!

This owl nightlight is just okay. It has sleep sounds, but only a couple are actually usable. Also, the sound loops are very short, which can be irritating instead of soothing. The plug can get a little loose resulting in a static sound as well. When this thing falls off the table, which it will, the bulbous shape makes it difficult to pick up as it's too big to grasp with one hand. It's just clunky and not very well designed despite the cute exterior.

Needed a continuous sound soother but it turns off even on the infinity setting.

Our little one loves it. The star display on the ceiling is a hit. Just enough light for a nighttime diaper change but not too bright

I just bought this and it works well. It's bigger than expected which is a plus. I like that the sound and light are adjustable. Great features, cute design.

Since I've purchased this, our granddaughter falls asleep without anyone else in the room!

I received this as a baby shower gift and it only works for about 10 seconds, regardless of what setting it is on. We have the mobile one and that is great so am quite disappointed that this one doesn't work.

I received this Soother as a baby shower gift. My baby and I loved the waves and heartbeat sound. Unfortunately after 3 months the speaker began to make a loud crackling sound which was unbearable to listen to. I ordered another one from the website after being told "there is no warranty" on this product. I received my second soother and have used it for a month only to have the same thing happen again. We do run this machine all night every night, but my sister has an older version that has lasted her 3 years. Very disappointed that this product failed so quickly. I will looking for a different brand of sound machine from now on

Recieved as a baby shower gift and started using when baby was 1 month. She is 3 months and the longest the owl will play is for an hour. The continuous play turns off after 10 minutes.

Wonderful owl that soothes the child and makes room lighting. Lovely!

We have used this every night for almost 3 years and never had one issue. I haven't tried the battery option- it's plugged into the wall. Light and easy to transport! My daughter loves it and she turns it on herself as part of bedtime ritual. There are many sound/music and volume settings (she likes birdsong). Also the timer is a great plus! Love this. I highly recommend it!

We bought this for our son as an infant and used it as a nightlight and for white noise. He fell in love with it and we still use it every night four years later. It's easy to travel with and stays on all night if you set it to infinity. I'd recommend this to anyone, especially if you're looking for something to keep your little one from being awakened by other house noises and siblings!

We got this as a gift for our daughter and have been using it on the white noise setting every night since she's been born. She is now 3 and still uses it! I came to the site to order another for our next baby who is due in a few months a decided to write a review. Love it! It has come all the way to Cuba with us too and travelled on many other holidays around the country :-)

I always felt like I was damaging daughters ears when I left this on all night, even though it wasnt next to her head or cranked all the way up. It felt so LOUD! The sound is just not soothing. Its just... noise. It must have something to do with the freaquency, not just the volume. I never realized not all white noise is created equal until I got a Rohm. Even cranked up, the noise is soothing so you dont even hear it after a while. I wish we discovered this sooner!
Other than that it looks cute, the stars on the ceiling were a hit, and it stays on all night, and effectively blocks outside noises. (But my daughter stopped waking up at 4 or 5 am when we switched to the rohm!)!

I bought this to use with my babies. I liked the owl design and that it also a nightlight. Unfortunately the projection had a minor defect, so the image was blurry on a section of the stars. It was something I didn't like but could live with. A few days ago I pushed the power button to turn on the owl, and it will not turn on. I tried plugging it in to other electrical outlets and using different power adaptors. Nothing worked. Now it's merely an expensive decoration. DO NOT BUY.

This is one of the only night lights and sound machines that stayed on all night long it was perfect for my son who's a super light sleeper. It was great until it started shutting off after only 15 minutes of use.

we still do not use it because the baby is not yet born, but we did a test and we really enjoyed the lighting and projection.

So disappointed that this unit shuts off on its own after about 15 minutes on the infinity setting!

We were gifted this and used it regularly. However after only 7 months it has begun to shut off on its one while on the indefinite setting. Each time it stops, my daughter wakes up.

Do not purchase.

We asked for this item for my newborn for Christmas since my 1 year old daughter loves it so much. We were very disappointed to discover the infinite time setting shuts off. It keeps running on my older daughters machine so I am not sure if this was an update. We haven't been using the machine for this reason.

We have been using it every night for two years and have never had any issues with it! This is an amazing product, you can control the volume which is also a favorite of ours! With the color scheme it is so versatile to fit every nursery! 10/10

We received the stroll and go owl at our baby shower, so for Christmas purchased our daughter this soother since she was obsessed with the smaller version. Long story short she still uses the small one. This machine doesn't play the melodies as smooth as the small one, it almosts sounds harsh and not as comforting. We love the light up belly and projector though.

I like the design and lighting is good. My baby like it .
