Excellent product
December 17, 2022
Nothing to see here, just another exceptional product from Thule. This offers a great ergonomic design and serves as a functional stroller, jogger, and bike trailer. Living below the Mason-Dixon, we won't be testing out the cross country ski package soon, but it's nice to have options!

Love this stroller, but..
November 6, 2022
We have loved using this stroller for our two girls (1&3 yo). It is so easy to use and has so much storage. It isn't the easiest to cart around, but when used at home and within the neighborhood, at sporting events, or on camping trips, it is perfect.

Our only complaint is that the mechanism that secures the front stroller wheel has broken. It doesn't click and stabilize the wheel, so if strolling on bumps, the wheel will pop off. Is this piece replaceable?

We absolutely love it!
July 29, 2022
We bought the chariot because it is the best option to use as a bike trailer and stroller for two kids. We have the sling for a two-month-old and he loves to be there. We haven't used it as a trailer yet because we are waiting for the baby to be big enough to go for a ride, but so far we love it. It has a lot of storage. We also bought the jogging kit but we don't love it because it doesn't turn :/ other than that it is perfect. I strongly recommended for active families who wants to use it as a stroller and bike trailer :)

A must have for active parents

We purchased the Chariot to train for a half marathon, knowing we would also use it for trail runs and biking in the future. We love it. It's modular, well built, and has tons of storage. We use it on paved paths and well-kept gravel trails. The sunscreen is clutch! Our infant will go about 2 hours in it before fussing, your mileage may vary. It has become a go-to cart on trips to the farmer's market or events in town where we need to haul gear and the kiddo. It folds down and fits in our Mazda CX-5 trunk, bags get packed on top. I am 6'2'' and the handle height is comfortable for walking/jogging. We bought a double in hopes of adding another passenger in the future :).

A couple of tips:
-the tubes can puncture, we replaced the back wheels with foam tubes
-do a quick "is this wheel straight" roll test every time you attach the jogging wheel (there is a knob to make micro-adjustments... easier before you settle in on the run)
-check that you are purchasing all the accessories! Infant swing, jogging arm, thru axel for bike, etc

Great stroller.
July 19, 2022
I debated buying this for a while due to the price but I am so happy I did. It is so convenient to have at camp. We use it for bike rides, runs, and walks around the campground every day. It folds up nicely to store in camper when we r gone. My 7 month old is very comfortable when in the infant seat. Highly recommend this stroller.

Love it but difficult to attach to bike
June 6, 2022
We love everything about our Cross 2 except attaching to our bikes. Is the bike attachment arm different in Canada? Ours does not have a ball at the end of it and we have to take out the skewer every time we want to attach it which is a real pain.

The best purchase
March 15, 2022
We have used this bike trailer for over three months and so far we love it. Super easy to love, great quality, wind proof, waterproof, additional attachment for infant (infant sling) works great. We go outside with this bike trailer all the time. Perfect for any weather and any road! Definitely worth investing and adding some accessories like organizer, brakes and extra front wheel. Also the back bag can fit a lot of groceries!

Wow, life changing
March 29, 2021
We purchased the stroller and some accessories (except the ski component). This has been a life changer. We have two kids about a year apart, and they both fit in great. We have the baby accessories that we have been using to support our youngest, while the older one easily climbs in and out of the stroller on their own. We were walking the other day and my oldest decided to stand up and get out suddenly. I didn't have the top cover zipped on, but because the stroller is so conveniently low to the ground, my child bonked his head on the ground but little damage was done! And it is such a great height with the adjustable handle bar, that my spouse and I haven't had any issues pushing it (one of us 5'5" and the other 6'). It's been great on the bike, walking, and running. I carry all sorts of stuff in it (workout equipment, blankets, toys, etc.). I've had a ton of compliments from passers by. Customer service was great to work with when the trailer didn't ship to us in a timely manner. I HIGHLY recommend this trailer. Thank you for creating quality equipment that has made our adventures even better!

Worth the Money
March 12, 2021
Let's get real, it's a lot of money. But like most things in life, you get what you pay for. Every detail on the Chariot is beautiful. We've had it for a week and used it for jogging, walks, hikes (flat unpaved paths) and will soon use it for biking. In cold weather it stays warm and in warm weather it vents well. I've really been impressed.

Pros: usability, setting up takes 5 min, sun shades are movable, shipping was super fast (like two days, it was amazing), shock system is great for uneven ground, and finally it's just really cushy inside. Folds down really small (fits in my Rav4 easily)

Cons: the jogging wheel is fixed which is great for straight paths but terrible for lots of turns (I'm used to the Thule single jogger which is a dream), no hand brake, it's heavy (but that's every double jogger), and that's about it!

Overall, worth the money, we'll probably destroy it with how much we use it this summer and all future seasons!

Awesome stroller.
November 22, 2020
Love this stroller everything about it is completely great. I'm giving 4 stars only because the plastic cover or rain cover doesn't have ventilation in it. It should have some kind of ventilation to circulate the air in and out. Other then that it's a great stroller we had a lot off ppl looking and asking about it. Simple love it.

Well designed, below average quality.
July 17, 2020
My daughter loves her "blue chariot". We have ridden many kilometres together with either her teddy bear or a friend in the seat beside.

Recently, one of the wheels came apart. Nearly half the spokes came loose. The radial spoke pairs pattern makes for a weak wheel. Another issue we have had is the bug screen zipper gets caught on the fabric behind nearly every time.

Great!
May 10, 2020
I bought my Thule two weeks ago and love it. It is very easy to setup and take down to load in the car. The jogging wheel is a must, it rolls so nice, even with two 3 year olds in it. The only thing I wish it had was side vents, worried the kids will get hot in the summer. Very happy with my selection.

Great as bike trailer, but a bother as a stroller
March 3, 2020
We have no car when living city life in Sweden and use this bike trailer daily, close to weight limit capacity, for 1 7km rides. As a bike trailer it doesn't disappoint.
As a stroller, the front wheels don't swivel easily, often getting stuck in a certain position. This makes it very difficult to walk with it.
I would recommend to a family who will use the trailer option much more often than the stroller option, not vice versa.

Top of the line, Thule thought of everything!
March 3, 2020
Thule really thought of every convenience a parents could want in a stroller. The steering & navigation is great. Even through the stroller with two kids is heavy, it is somehow still easy to push. The sun shade and rain cover are easy to install and a nice feature for the kids. The reclining seats, foot room, and padded seats make it such a nice ride, I am jealous of my children! The buttons for set up and take apart are easily recognized by the blue color. It is a breeze to transition the stroller to use the other accessories. The only negative is it is difficult to fold and unfold the stroller, as well as clasp the storage compartment. In the video the stroller is assembled easily but I struggle every time. I have to push so hard the stroller is already scratched up from the pressure against the pavement.

Well made Stroller
March 3, 2020
We received this stroller last May for our 9 month old twins. We have used it almost every day on pavement and on dirt carriage trails as a jogger or bike trailer. There has been no wear and tear. The straps and seats are very supportive and they keep them upright. There is lots of leg room. There's an attachment that blocks the wind and sun which you can adjust up and down. The mesh screen is so nice for summer to keep the bugs out! There's also a plastic screen you can attach on colder days or when it's raining. I seen a comment about the inside getting to hot with the plastic cover due to lack of ventilation. I never take the kids out when it's raining so I never used the plastic cover for that. The only time I used the plastic cover is on a cold and windy day. It keeps the kids warm and they actually didn't need as many layers on. I could see them getting too warm if they had a lot of layers on. I feel like it was still ventilated due to mesh openings on the back of the trailer. The adjustable suspension is handy as well in terms of creating a smoother ride for our twins. Tons of storage! The only thing this stroller doesn't have is a split screen to keep our twins from fighting lol. We love every detail put into this stroller/ bike trailer and we are looking forward to using it cross country skiing this winter!

I can't say enough about this amazing stroller
March 3, 2020
I was all geared up to buy the chinook when my daughter was born in February but curiosity about this one won me over and I am sure glad I waited for the cross. This stroller is AWESOME. So much more user friendly than previous chariot models without sacrificing high performance. My kids are comfortable and safe, it fits my 3 yr old son which is impossible in BOB and baby jogger double running strollers, and it has inspired a new love of bike rides as a family. One of our favourite summer activities was to load it in the back of our car and take it to new trails to explore and picnic at. Only snag in the love affair we have with this stroller is the width it doesn't fit through our front door, which is a skinny old door. Not too fussed about it though it's truly the Maserati of running strollers. Fast, comfortable, easy to use.

Took hardly any time putting together and it is so easy and idiot proof to use. Was going nuts with two toddlers in the house and no car to take them places. But now we go on bike rides everyday! So many adventures and more fun for everyone!

Best child bike carrier! As a stroller it is amazing too.
March 3, 2020
We love this trailer for what we have currently used it for, as a stroller and bike tailer. We also know we could use it with the ski attachment (though don't go skiing enough to own this accessory yet). I would definitely recommend the cup holder accessory for the adult pushing the trailer as a stroller, it can hold whatever you need right at hand (snacks, drinks, keys, sun screen...etc) and you don't need to take it off as a bike trailer. Also the bunting is something I use a lot when it gets a little chilly out (we are in central VA).

Tires are a joke!
March 3, 2020
I've had this trailer for three weeks and taken it on 6 bike rides along almost entirely sidewalks and roads and I am now on my fourth replacement tube. Only once have I found the culprit and it was a tiny thorn that went through the tire.

Super high quality, thoughtful design
March 3, 2020
We got this stroller to replace our single Thule jogging stroller single Burley bike trailer after we had our second baby. It really is a great all in one for two littles. They love riding in it.

It was easy to assemble and the construction and parts are clearly very high quality. My only real complaint is that the side panels are not permeable and hence don't ventilate; however, there is mesh ventilation in the rear. There is also a slight wrinkle across the top of the fabric where the handlebar connects to the frame; this could be improved in the next model probably and is only a cosmetic issue.

There is plenty of storage. We switched to this from a burley and I was a little worried that we would miss the cargo space, but it makes total sense to keep the storage space separate from the passenger space and have the option of collapsing it when not in use.

Being a two passenger stroller, it's fairly wide. It takes up most of a narrow sidewalk so that a companion can't walk directly beside the stroller. It would definitely be too wide to take into most shops and stores; we bring a bike lock to secure it while in a restaurant or at the gym.

Like not love
March 3, 2020
We just bought the cross at a local dealer in Calgary. The colours aren't the best. Seats don't looks super comfortable. The biggest concern is that when using the rain cover, like most who use it when they are biking so they don't spray their kids with mud from their bike, the entire cab gets hot. There is ZERO AIR FLO. The side panels don't unzip like the chinook. And the cab gets super hot.
Also another poor design is the handbreak... it's cheaply made.
Another major design flaw is the lack of a foot rest/well for the kids. The chinook has a better idea of a foot rest that can be put up or down depending on the child. However it could be improved by making it independent so one kid can have its feet up and the other can put its feet in the well.
Also there is no mud guards for the top of the wheels like the chinook. Not a deal breaker but nice to have to keep the trailer looking mint.

We do love the adjustable handlebars and the spot to put the biking arm when not in use as well as the double recline. One kid might want to take a nap when other wants to be uprights. Smart. But when reclined putting a plastic shield instead of mesh was a flaw. Like I said air flow is so important.

We love the versatility!
March 3, 2020
We love how versatile, sturdy, well built/designed, and dependable our chariot is. We set it up and had it on the bike within 20 minutes. The shocks absorb the bumps on forest service roads and the wind/shade protector keep our little one toasty inside when it's below freezing. We can insulate the inside enough that we can walk every day in the winter 10 to 30 degrees, with out little one bundled in a sleeping bag. This stroller keeps the whole family active throughout the year. We are glad we bought the Cross 2, as the extra storage compartment is crucial for going out with kids who may want to bike along side for a bit and then ride the rest of the way. We are glad we went with this option and not another brand, for sure!
